Installing people to "monitor loyalty" throughout the government has a really familiar sound to it, but I can't seem to place it.

Trump is at a 37% popularity approval. Nixon was at 28% a few weeks before being impeached.

At what point does the GOP start thinking about cutting ties? Or are they convinced gerrymandering and disenfranchisement can withstand a sub 28% rating?

ryan might lead it the white house media is attacking him pretty hard

The UK basketball network is naturally on the GOP brainwash network. Heard late night on this ****

"So the Neil Gorsuch hearing is going to be held this week. Knowing Democrats they are going to do everything they can do to fight it"

OH I WONDER WHY

I think the GOP rides the Trump train for as long as it benefits them. They might be getting some pushback from their constituents over things like ACA repeal, but that effort was coming either way, the biggest GOP financial backers demand it.

Trump's approval rating probably doesn't factor all that much. I'm sure your typical GOP rep would strongly prefer Ronald Reagan, but they still benefit quite a bit from Trump's idiocy providing daily cover for all of the ****ty legislation they're advancing.

Sorry Lilu, but this is way too good not to respond to.

What did our very bright buddy hornbug say before Trump took office, on the subject of lazy presidents golfing and vacationing?

Damn guy likes to work despite being past retirement age.
And what does he say now that Trump is actually vacationing and golfing way more than that lazy Obama, and others point that out?

LOL hornbug, you are a Trumpkin because your utter intellectual bankruptcy allows you no other choice.

hornbug in that second post is pretty sure hornbug in the first post is someone else you're thinking of. Second post hornbug never said anything like that. Fake news.

I will never understand how so many intelligent people get sucked in to responding to obvious trolls.

For the love of God, please stop quoting the slappies. Seeing their empty rhetoric bypass the ignore feature causes aids. If you have to take their bait and respond to the idiocy will you please keep their quotes out of your posts. Thanks in advance.

Question on the vacation thing.

If you define Trump Tower and Maro-Lago as the North and South White Houses and not vacation locations, has Trump taken a vacation yet as President?

Staying in FL in winter doesn't seem unreasonable for an old man.

Does Mar-a-Lago have a situation room?

As soon as their corporate donors see Trump is hurting their business and tells them so.

Does the public dining room count?

The last time a president appeared to be a "captive" of the White House was Jimmy Carter during the Iran hostage crisis. Is that what we want now, a president who can't leave the white house?

Trump in meltdown on Twitter again. No matter how often this happens I still can't get my head around this being the POTUS. It's like a parody.

If we define 'work' as 'tweeting nonsense' has there ever been a harder working president?

You could invent a new drinking game around it. Every time he types "Fake News!!!" you drink a shot.

You'll be on your ass quicker than that time I listened to an Ozzy Osbourne album and took a shot every time Zakk Wylde did a pinch harmonic.

Lol, if you define a rat as a fish I can get you some super cheap sushi. If you define the south of france as my office I'll never take a vacation again.

Multiple that by watching cable news and he has already worked harder in his first two months than the last twelve presidents combined.

So it appears Trump hasn't been on vacation at all so far. You may think it sucks that Trump owns multiple homes and has permission of the US government to use the white house as another home. But so far he has been a stay at home(s) president.

I suspect the Koch brothers are starting to get uncomfortable about 2018 at this point. We shall see.
