Two weeks ago on "Meet The Press," James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence under President Obama, denied that any evidence of such collusion existed while he oversaw the work of U.S. intelligence agencies. The Trump administration has also reiterated those denials.

But this Sunday on "Meet The Press," Schiff, D-Calif., told host Chuck Todd, "I was surprised to see Director Clapper say that because I don't think you can make that claim categorically as he did. I would characterize it this way at the outset of the investigation: There is circumstantial evidence of collusion. There is direct evidence, I think, of deception and that's where we begin the investigation."

Infrastructure is another example of this BS. He doesn't want infrastructure, he wants kickbacks to companies that *might* reinvest in infrastructure for profit that they can then turn around and charge the public to use, maybe.
I posted these because they aren't Trump talking. We know Trump'll say anything and everything, but he farms everything out to the people who know things. Currently the Goldman Sacs wing of the Republican Party is where he's getting all his policy stuff and that's why his policy is bog standard movement conservativism, ironically the same thing he railed against during the election. The real power, as far as everyone says, is in his courtiers and their agendas, not some hardline vision that Trump has, because we know he's just a salesman. The Breitbart wing might be coming up with their own alternative ethnonationalist welfare chauvinist policy but who knows if they'd get through to get an audience.

The hell kind of libertarian is this? He wants to jail leakers now? What about being tough on national security. He is HELPING Russia by being harder on the leakers than the actual collusion with a hostile foreign power!!!

LOL He wants to personally give them lie detector tests. Of course Rand Paul is dumb enough to still think lie detector tests are a real scientific thing.

lol lie detector tests, they're not even admissible in a court of law. what a complete ****ing idiot (and fraud)

Also nobody leaked the transcripts, what is Paul talking about? People leaked that there were transcripts, not the actual transcripts.

Yeah, this is a kind of fallacy that the right uses all the time. It has to have a name. They actively keep themselves ignorant to basic facts abot the things they speak about.

I have always hated the fact that moderates and some liberals embraced this guy as some sort of non-standard, non-insane Republican. Still have no clue where this comes from. He's a fool.

i'm listening to old howard stern shows for fun, and trump calls in to promote his book on 10/10/2006, and after 20 minutes of rating famous women on a scale of 1-10 and evaluating ivanka's beauty and dating capabilities, howard presciently asks, "if you were president, what would you do with this north korea situation?" and trump says he would go BEYOND sanctions, and that he wouldn't send condaleeza rice (secretary of state) there.

and even more upsetting, trump rated angelina jolie a 5

Plausible deniability due to ignorance is a weaker defence when Trump doubles down on an international stage. That press conference with Merkel took place after he had had weeks to acquire some facts and take back his idiotic claims.

If the British got an apology from Spicer, they should have asked for it in writing. McMaster is supposed to be a stand-up guy. What is he thinking?

You wouldn't know a communist if there was one currently biting you on the butt.

The best part about kyp citing books from little Ben and horowitz is that he clearly hasn't read them. He knows what they're about, but he can't cite any examples or passages from them because he obviously hasn't read them. He wants us to read the works of these hacks then make his arguments for him.

That having been said, I think anyone would agree that 80%+ of educators, in general, are wildly liberal. That is for the same reason that coal miners are likely 80%+ wildly conservative, though...
Yeah it all starts with teachers having the gall to tell the kids that they have to share the toys in the classroom, as opposed to just letting the biggest kids take everything. From there it's a slippery slope to Obamacare.

Kyp's couching of his heros is weird. He keeps referring to shapiro's religion just in case anyone get the wrong idea to think he would be a member himself but can still like him the he constantly frames Horowitz as an ex-Marxist like that is some credibility beacon. Anyone who is alive today who was ever a Marxist anything has already lost any sort of credibility battle when it comes to discussing almost anything.

Regardless these are weird ways to constantly refer to people like you are trying to fill up a publicist's checklist with every post.

Or at least he would not have made Rice stay there if she was a little bit tired.

I'm sure intelligence agents would be the worst and passing a lie detector test.

Paul is a huge imbecile. I was never a fan of his dad either but I assume he has a lot of status from his dad and not from himself.

Nunes (house intel chair) said on TV one person in the white house was under investigation.

Jesus christ at this **** show.

Yes. There is. Two leaders of Vitezi Rend told the Forward that they had inducted Gorka as an oathed member, after he was introduced by his father. The Tablet's refutation wasn't a refutation, merely a denial by Gorka. He wears the insignia, he uses the characteristic 'v' for 'vitez' as a middle initial -- which no one ever does unless they are members of Vitezi Rend -- and he has proven longstanding ties with the Hungarian far-right.

And he has every reason to lie, because his membership of Vitezi Rend means that he obtained US citizenship illegally under false pretences. Vitezi Rend, being Nazi-affiliated, is a reportable organisation under US immigration rules and you can bet that Gorka failed to report his membership to the INS when seeking naturalisation.
