The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

I have no particular love for the idealized version of NATO as the protector of the free world as it appears in the neoliberal's mind, but when I see an actual flesh-and-blood Montenegran in conflict with his natural enemy, the fascist clown from Russia, I do not have to ask myself which side I am on.

Meanwhile North Korea is firing missile after missile. But they make sure to do it on the weekend when Trump is entertaining at Mar-a-lago. Right-wing media ignores it of course.

I see it a fair bit out there. I'm just glad nobody on my facebook feed did, or I'd have to unfriend them before I yelled not nice things at them.

Man, I'd sure like to read Roger Stone and testifying at a senate hearing in the same sentence soon.

Nice logic dip****.
Hawaii could never understand the tragic consequences of a surprise attack on US soil.

And then not insane when you consider its correlation to a heat map of human population

Also, it's a great self-own that no red teamers will get: the cities affected by terrorism are overwhelmingly against the Muslim ban

Oops

that's because cities are full of Muslim terrorists LDO

and *****

edit: and homosexuals

Yea that's true. If you were to pick 10 places in the US to hit, there's a good chance all 10 would be in blue areas.

Older men in my family are always like "California should just leave already" and then I tell them about the direction federal dollars flow and then they sputter and get mad and then say this is why they don't talk politics. (It's 100% them that bring it up. I never initiate it.)

Then the next time I see them, CALIFORNIA SHOULD JUST LEAVE ALREADY.

This was related to the map, but I forget exactly how.

Anyway. The firehouse peedency

As a Californian I'd be fine with a West Coast exit if it didn't mean having a potential military adversary.

Trump's budget is being discussed out there now, and basically everything that people like about gov't is getting cut all so he can play golf and blow up other countries!

WAAF

Dunno why some are shocked at the science/medical/etc cuts, I'm actually surprised he didn't fully cut them.

Troll them next time by saying that Texas would #10 in the world in GDP if they were their own country. When they agree and like that, casually mention Cali would be #7.

You'd definitely have to pay the Heartland to not divert the Colorado River

They'd rather flood the Grand Canyon than let you drink

Nah - we're not gonna fight with Flyoverstan. Way too many families scattered around. West Coast exit would be like 95% but upside.

CA, OR, WA and the NE US could secede and join Canada. I'd be down w/ that.

Do they like fruits and vegetables? Because about 90% of those come from the CA central valley.

Well never mind that they'll just eat steak and cool whip.

Hollywood cut them off. No more Duck Dynasty or Honey Boo Boo-type shows. Ever.

That should do it.

Yeah, but HI wasn't a state at the time of Pearl Harbor, so it hadn't fully embraced that USA #1 spirit.

So CNN had a fun town hall with HHS Secretary Tom Price.

Cliffs of what he said you ask?

up to states to regulate whether immunizations are required.
then told someone directly who is only alive because of medicaid that medicaid is broken.
Hard defended everything in the bill everyone hates.

At least you can't say that dude doesn't have balls like tillerson.

Good thing outbreaks never jump across state lines - what with people dying in the stagecoach before they can spread their disease.

This map does not match the NY Times County map, so I'm gonna go ahead and say it's bull****.

Schuyler seems to be positing a theory that proximity to the 9/11 attacks determines the value of your point of view on American politics. So... I guess we should really have listened to NYC and DC and awarded Hillary Clinton a landslide victory.

Yea I don't get that. Does he think arbitrary state boundaries will magically stop a virus from crossing the border?
03-16-2017 , 02:44 AM
I grew up in KC. I can confirm that State Line Rd., which bisects the city, has a semi-permeable membrane that allows cars and people to cross, but filters out all germs.

As a New Jerseyan, I'd basically vote for the Convoluted Lex Luthor Real Estate Scheme before supporting Calexit. That's if the hopelessly red remainder of the US doesn't drown us both out after melting the ice caps first.

In ridic stories out there I just read today
Jared Kushner's dad hired a call girl to sleep with a witness, videotaped it, and sent the tape to witness's wife.

That witness was his brother in law.

Jared Kushner messaged one of christies aids about bridgegate and called it badass.

Jared is basically Trump. WAAF
