He was able to avoid campaigning on it by lying a lot.

In before Obama personally destroyed the evidence.

Two of Trump's tweets didn't use quotes around "tapp" or "tapping."

Just have to hope that nothing goes wrong anywhere in the world for the next 4 years.

AHCA in it's current form is dead. When Breitbart & FOX News don't full throat endorse in this era, you know it's over already.

14 million expected in the next year. I really don't get the GOP strategy here.

Whole thing is just so weird.

I have no idea what Ryan's game is here. Trump is absolutely going to throw him under the bus when this flames out.

Breitbart is going full "Ryancare!!!" and "Ryan stabbed us in the back!!" right now. Fantasies in the comments section of Trump getting the bill on his desk, refusing to sign and throwing it back in their faces or thrusting his own plan upon the Congress at that time.

This has been getting to me too from the political point of view but he lives purely for tax cuts for the rich, so here he is. It's better politically to support a bill that fails, than one that succeeds. Everyone forgets the bills that failed. (they figured that out in the 90's)

Maybe he's just dumb or trying to get VP if that ends up happening, I really don't know what the goal is other than seeing who's dumb enough to believe what he's saying.

Trump's crafty enough to do this knowing it'd fail to throw ryan or whoever (they probably were really hoping for some technical flaw that it couldn't have even come up in the senate to blame some rando gov't official to blame the swamp or dem filibuster) under bus to keep people in line too. Either way trump team had a plan but it looks like they aren't going to get to blame who they really wanted but will settle for the consolation prize, getting rid of a guy who turned on them once, hoping for a new speaker who will auto do what they want.

If the GOP doesn't understand that every single one of them who ever said a bad thing about trump is on his list, they are so, so dumb.

He's an idiot. The tea leaves are meaningless.

Paul Ryan lives for tax cuts for the rich. These tax cuts for the rich are his golden parachute, they are his endgame. He'll take his best shot at these ridiculous tax cuts and see where it gets him. He was born for this.

Lol Bitchbart always and forever. Somebody rig up some memes of MAGA-hat-wearing olds being ushered into a gas chamber by Pepe Trump and Ryan.

The White House's own internal analysis of the GOP plan to repeal and replace Obamacare show even steeper coverage losses than the projections by the Congressional Budget Office, according to a document viewed by POLITICO on Monday.

The executive branch analysis forecast that 26 million people would lose coverage over the next decade, versus the 24 million CBO estimate — a finding that undermines White House efforts to discredit the forecasts from the nonpartisan CBO.

Yea who knows?

Maybe Ryan wants Trump/Pence out and he has dirt to impeach so he can be POTUS. At the same time, he knows Trump's ratings need to be in the dumpster for him to be impeached.

I know that idea is way the **** out there but it does seem Ryan is openly sabotaging the party. Just weird all around.

So even Trump couldn't find someone of sufficiently low integrity to back up this AHCA bs.

But CNN did. In separate segments, they trotted out Stephen Moore and Grover Norquist to defend the AHCA. They were not remotely credible.

And now they have audio of Ryan back in October, saying he wasn't going to defend Trump. What a weird dynamic.

Quote:
On a never-before-released private October conference call with House Republican members, House Speaker Paul Ryan told his members in the U.S. House of Representatives he was abandoning then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump forever and would never defend him ever again.
