Well, nobody wants trumpkin trolls here either, right? Or do they?

I don't think everybody wants this thread to turn into a huge circle jerk either. Might help to inject some differing opinions into the mix, you know?

opinions about the topic of the presidency of donald j trump are welcome itt. this isn't the only thread on 2+2, this is a thread about the presidency of donald j trump. don't bring up poker strategy or theological discussion itt because that isn't this topic.

Saying "this is philosophical, take it elsewhere" is denying that at this juncture, the otherwise hypothetical discussion has very serious real-life implications.
So say you are right, ok, congrats. The reason why people don't want to discuss it here is that there isn't much to discuss. Everyone knows and agrees that religion plays a huge part in American politics.

yeah that's the big problem, there is no big bombshell (at least that can be proven unless they really got him on tape--which I have not heard) and there's plenty of other corrupt **** going on that warrants that level of fanfare. If main street media keep going on this and they can't deliver, then trump can KO them permanently and people will cheer it on.

My counter is we are faced with both an unprecedented Whitehouse administration in terms of malfeasance and an unprecedented cowardly congress.

So not sure what traditional pathways one thinks they should be pursuing.

Ok, I accept that. I guess I piped up at the wrong time. There were a lot of sentiments expressed ITT along the lines of "how did this happen?" in the past. Next time, I will reply in turn.

Thank you for being civil.

You probably meant that fewer than 5% of atheists voted for Trump. But what you actually said was a lot different.

click on trump's likes on twitter. 46.

Spoiler:
the latest one is franken saying he thinks sessions committed perjury

No, what I meant specifically is if we took all the people who voted for Trump, I believe that fewer than 5% of them are self-avowed atheists, and I am prepared to take evens on it (if such a bet were possible).

Don't be so patronizing, David. Not everybody who frequents your forum is incapable of rational thought, and sometimes, people actually both mean and understand what they say.

How about I just take of all people in the United States, fewer than 5% are self-avowed atheists.

Doesn't matter. If you don't tow the line and agree with what the big kahunas on here say, they will label you a trumpkin and make it stick even if they have to bully you and lie about you and then bully and lie some more. Some of these "righteous" elites make Trump looks like honest Abe.

I didn't realize Trump was in the Baseball HOF.

Sessions was at the same event with Trump and Kislyak. Even after getting caught in his previous lies, he still forgot to mention it. Strike 3. Lol Sessions.

Quote:
Sessions did not mention the Mayflower event when he was asked during his confirmation hearings if he had any contact during the presidential campaign with Russian officials. Nor did he put that event in his amended testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee this week.
