Did he write that?

It's on his official Facebook page:

Edit: How do you see if a Facebook account is verified? Is this fake news?

Um, just 16 or so years ago we had a President straight up lie to the American public about the threat posed by Iraq, and our nation committed war crimes in the process. What sort of scandal does he really think will "rock" the nation?

Does Bannon not get a checkmark?

They wanted to give him a swastika but realized that's not good for business.

Former Donald Trump campaign national security adviser Carter Page had the Trump campaign’s permission for his controversial speech in Moscow in July 2016, Page told USA TODAY.

Page confirmed he asked the campaign for permission in June before making the trip to Moscow and campaign management cleared him to do so, as long as he acted as a private citizen and not a representative of the campaign. Page declined to publicly name the person.

“I’m confirming that information,” Page told USA TODAY when asked about getting approval from the campaign.
USA Today is reporting on their site as "breaking!"

Lol this is a photoshopped photo from an Onion article just to clear up any confusion. His face really looks like that minus the mouse tho.

The new part I believe is that the Trump campaign officially gave him permission, not that he took the trip.
03-07-2017 , 09:12 PM
Right, that is newsworthy because it confirms that the Trump administration was lying about Russian communications because it directly approved such communications through Carter Page's trip to Russia.

This is a "new" revelation, different from the one like yesterday, because it's another new proof that they intentionally communicated with Russia during the campaign and then denied doing so.

Not that anyone could possibly doubt that at this point, but still.

jeffrey lorde just said trump is playing 3d chess

trump is just doing his old projecting game. so that low/no-information republicans, when they hear "the 2016 campaign was hacked" can say "YEAH IT WAS HACKED, BY OBAMA AND HE ONLY GOT AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE HE'S BLACK"

spicer is the official mouthpiece for the president. if the only thing the president knows about the health care bill is the number of pages... then that would definitely be subject of his statement.

earlier. the oval office.
***

aide: mr president, this is the new health care bill, we think it's our best chance at achieving our goals in this congress.
potus: wow, that kinda big, isn't it? how many pages is it?
aide: it's 124 pages, sir, it's way WAY shorter than obamacare. in fact half of the bulk is just to repeal the job-killing disaster obamacare
potus: that's good! we gotta tell people that!
aide: alright well here ya go
potus: thanks you can leave now
This is why I worry about Trump's hands.

Gary Kasparov opposes pretty much opposes everything the administration does and I'm sure he could play them all at once in 32D chess and not lose.

No doubt, but the link between Romanticism and fascism is well established, and it's trivially easy to get from 19th century transcendentalism to today's rural Trump voters.

That's goofy and half the internet agrees.

just one thought - https://theamericanscholar.org/to-th...-romanticism/#

But, w/e, it's certainly trivially easy to trace a path from Plato or Aristotle to Fascism as well, but you can trace a path from them to Ghandi in another route. In fact, the path from Thoreau to Tolstoy to Ghandi is really clear.

Thoreau was an abolitionist and, although I haven't read Civil Disobedience yet, I'm pretty sure he was big on personal liberty for all humans.

Sometimes what looks like 3d chess is just somebody taking a dump in the middle of the board.

In a sea of brainless moronic pundits Lorde is the stone cold nut low. He has never uttered a single intelligent word in his life.

Eric Bolling was ripping the AHCA even. Anytime I've ever seen that guy talk he has been huge in the tank for Trump.

could have sworn that Page admitted that on the cnn

Quote:
COOPER: OK. Did the campaign -- because at that point, you were still being called an adviser to the campaign. When Corey Lewandowski left, I think at the end of July, he said you were absolutely an adviser to the campaign, at that point when he left. Did the campaign know about your trip to Russia in advance?

PAGE: People knew about it, yes.

COOPER: Because you told "The Washington Post" in September 26, you said that you made it clear to senior Trump campaign staff at the time that you were going to Russia, you were acting in a personal capacity and that they approved your trip in advance with the understanding no campaign issues would be discussed.

[20:25:05] Is that true?

PAGE: Not only is that true,
what happened when I was in Moscow as opposed to the, you know, the dodgy dossier fake intel report --

COOPER: Which we've never reported -- CNN has never reported any details of what was in that dossier, nor would I ask you about the details of what was in that dossier.

PAGE: There's nothing to ask, Anderson, because it's -- everything about me is completely false and just so inaccurate. You know, this Rosneft stake for example, a stake which actually is bought -- was bought by Glencore, a company founded by Marc Rich, you know, who's -- long history there you probably remember.

COOPER: So, just -- before we get to that, can you say who gave you a heads up from the Trump campaign to go to Moscow? Who said it was OK? Because you said -- you told "The New York Times" I guess that you talked to senior campaign -- or Trump campaign staff at the time. You made it clear to senior Trump campaign staff at the time that you were going.

PAGE: You know, Anderson, I've never -- I don't like putting my name with someone else in the campaign because I've literally been public enemy number one. I'm constantly being attacked thanks to this false evidence.

COOPER: So, you don't want to say --

PAGE: And so, if I start telling you names, literally those people are going to get dozens of calls.

COOPER: So, you did tell somebody in the campaign you were going and they approved it.

PAGE: People were fine with it.

What?

Spicer's defense of the bill is basically: 'It's less pages than Obamacare ergo it's better QED'?

Did I understand that correctly?

Is this a simulation?
03-07-2017 , 10:00 PM
so, just to recap, since the trump dossier became public, we've had a number of confirmations of bits and pieces of the report, and (to date) a total of zero pieces of information that refute anything in the report, is that correct?
