At this point I'm mostly hoping I don't look back at statements like this that I and others have made and think, "wow, I can't believe we were actually worried about our ****ing investments back in January 2017"
01-26-2017 , 07:29 PM
i mean im assuming the world is ending in the next 3 years but maybe i can spend money

I'm actually hoping I lose a bunch real fast. The longer they have to entrench themselves the harder its going to be to remove them. We are staring the end of our democracy in the face. And the longer he tries to drag us backwards to 1970 or whenever his dream America is, the more long term damage we incur to our international standing.

Clinton no fly zones in Syria lead to ww3 w Russia was something I encountered a lot during the election.

Maybe we will let the Russians manage our resources in the region so there are no problems.

Trump pulled the prepaid ACA enrollment ads without even getting the money back.

Rote hadn’t planned on voting twice but said it was “a spur-of-the-moment thing” when she walked by the satellite voting location, she told The Washington Post in a phone interview Saturday.

“I don’t know what came over me,” Rote said.

She added she has been a supporter of Donald Trump since early in his campaign, after Republican candidate Mike Huckabee dropped out of the primary race.

Rote told Iowa Public Radio that she cast her first ballot for Trump but feared it would be changed to a vote for Hillary Clinton.

“The polls are rigged,” Rote told the radio station.
EDIT: from october

Re: Lazy trump taking 1st weekend off:

Turns out he was hard at work Saturday morning calling the Park Service director to pressure him into producing inauguration photos that are more flattering.

Not lazy, not lazy. You're lazy.

Trump pressured Park Service to back up his claims about inauguration crowd

Quote:
In a Saturday phone call, Trump personally ordered Reynolds to produce additional photographs of the previous day’s crowds on the National Mall, according to three individuals who have knowledge of the conversation. The president believed that they might prove that the media had lied in reporting that attendance had been no better than average.
Jesus Christ, this is his reaction to something completely meaningless, we're ****ed the second another country decides to poke the bear.

What you consider meaningless is actually the most important thing to him. He can't take it at all if people think someone has more people at inauguration crowd than he did, or people think someone got more votes despite winning.

Notice I said people think. That's the key.

Six and a half days in and I think we've reached the point where all 62,980,160 trump voters should be paraded through the streets while the rest of us chant shame and throw snowflake plushy's at them.

And yet most of them are doubling-down on their support.

The absolute blindness is pretty remarkable. The refusal to just say "yeah, so what?" instead of denying a trivial falsehood... yep, waaf.

The answer to that question is almost always yes, but in this case it says "the onion".
