The first line of the WaPo article is along the lines of Rex Tillerson's job will be much more difficult due to this. Really? How are the resignation of 4 department heads who fundamentally disagree with policies of the new administration and would be an impediment to policy implementation going to make it more difficult? Good riddance to Patrick Kennedy and his ilk.

I heard none of the people involved in any of the major US terror attacks were actually from the list of banned countries.

Just in time. The Economist's Intelligence Unit just downgraded the US from "full democracy" to "flawed democracy" alongside Bulgaria and Mongolia... https://www.thenation.com/article/th...wed-democracy/

Yeah, odd that Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan aren't on there

I hope the Iraqis who collaborated with US forces during the Iraq War all got out before now, otherwise gg

Alex Jones saying Infowars does indeed now have white house press credentials.

At this point I think I hope Trump slaps a tariff on Mexico and they respond. US ag will take the brunt. US farmers are not exactly thriving right now, and they will get decimated. It's the only way I see Trump supporters turning on him anytime soon. Of course they might just go with 'invade the ****ing mexicans!'

Farmers in ND aren't happy about TPP and export a lot to Mexico also.

Um, this doesn't seem right. Trump/Bannon are going to publish a weekly list of illegal immigrant crimes!??! wtf. Are they even going to bother to wait to see if they are guilty? Der Stürmeresque.

Trump gets extremely red-faced and sweaty while giving a 10-minute non-yelling speech in a climate controlled indoor area

Its not right in the sense that its not moral, but it is right in the sense that its whats actually going to happen. We are already firmly entrenched in an ethno-nationalistic government where minority rights will be systematically eroded. Whether they get fully stripped or there is actually ethnic cleansing will depend on if people actually step up over the next few years. I don't think things will get that far, but a year ago I would've said it was impossible and now I think its in the 1-3% range.

Can anyone predict how Trump will react in a crisis?

Initial paralysis followed by scapegoating and then rash action.

Ahead of time and under budget

Keeping track of all the horrible **** being done is getting exhausting. Just today we have:

Credentialing of infowars
Mexico canceling meeting
Proposed list of immigrant crimes
Mass firing of top State Dept. people

I'm sure I'm missing some other things. We need a day-by-day calendar of these type of lists.

Ok, the policies so far are pretty much just out of the GOP playbook. They had that stuff ready for whoever to sign on day one. And they are awful, absolutely awful.

Stuff like this isn't hurting anyone right now, but the potential is just horrifying.
