I saw that segment, I don't think the leaked DHS report is even the most damning part of it. As she correctly pointed out, they're arguing in court that this ban is necessary because of immediate threats to national security. If the threats are "immediate" why did they, by their own admission, delay implementation of a revised ban to avoid "stepping on" the positive coverage of Trump's speech?

Spoiler:
ldo there's no "immediate threat" from these countries

But Sessions isn’t the only one [Cabinet Members Who’ve Made False Statements to Congress].
At least four other cabinet members made statements during their nomination hearings that are contradicted by actual facts:

EPA Chief Scott Pruitt,
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos,
Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, and
Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price.

The statements were all made under oath, except those of DeVos.

I'm 100% sure it is made up. If his real name was made public he'd probably be dead

I don't think so. Pretty sure it's 100% going to bat for whatever daddy Trump tells them.

Lying under oath is only a crime if you're Bill Clinton, I guess?

Sessions used political funds for expenses in Cleveland where he also spoke at the RNC in favor of Donald Trump before meeting with the Russian Ambassador/Spy Recruiter Kislyak.

I feel like the Deep State/Intelligence Actors know a **** ton right now and are trying to figure out the best way to play it to do the least amount of damage to America long-term. You have to get public opinion to sour on Trump first then go after him. If you just release the peeing video immediately, that does irreparable harm to the Office of the Presidency.

If the meetings with Russian ambassadors/spy recruiters were all innocent, WHY NOT DISCLOSE THEM UPFRONT?

Because they were afraid the MEAN and UNFAIR liberal media would say that there was something suspicious about meeting with Russia right before changing your platform to be much more pro-Russian, at the same time your opponent was being hacked by Russian intelligence.

Therefore, to avoid unjust persecution by the nasty fake news enemy-of-the-people media, the only sensible course of action was to lie to Congress.

I'm joking ldo but I wouldn't be surprised if this is pretty close to the argument they'll make.
