Still terrible, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be when reading the initial comments here as I thought they were saying he was doing it currently as VP. It was as Indiana governor and did not break any laws.

If you look at the specific context of the questions I don't think it is clearcut that he lied. Or at least he didn't lie intentionally. It appears he may have misunderstood the intent of the question.
He didn't answer the question, he provided new info which was false. That's called perjury. Give it up already.

He used private e-mail for public stuff. ya know the same kind of thing everyone had a fit over hillary about. Ofc there's going to be "but private server" thing rather than public e-mail which is a ridic thing to nitpick over but whatever. You don't say a robbery is different from another in crime terms if the getaway car was a different brand.

Apparently this is not against indiana law. The more you know. I doubt private e-mails are part of FOIA requests tho.

I also think the Hilary stuff was completely overblown, but in the case of Pence, the article says:

Indiana law does not prohibit public officials from using personal email accounts, the Star said.

I didn’t choose to be here. And when I was brought here, I had to learn a whole new country and leave behind the one that I did know. And I barely knew that one. I feel, I strongly feel that I belong here and I strongly feel that I should be given a chance to be here and do something good and work in this economy. There’s so much that I can bring to the table, so much, like I can even teach music, I’m an excellent trumpet player you can ask my mom about any of that. I’m great with math, I speak Spanish. You know, there’s a lot of stuff that I can do for this country that they’re not allowing me to do. I’ve even tried to join the military, and I can’t do that. But, I mean that’s not the point, the whole point is that I would do anything for this country.
so ****ing sad

Carter Page just stumbled all over himself saying No to the question of whether he met with the Russians the famous dossier alleges he did.

All this sweden nonsense got on sweden nerves and they reinstated military draft, mainly cause of russia danger.

LOL.

So he should be let off the hook because he gave an answer to a question he didn't understand?

He was under oath talking to Congress. He's not spilling his guts to a bartender at the local watering hole.

If he's not capable of understanding questions from Congress, then he isn't qualified for the job.

He just straight up cannot answer a direct question yes or no

The god honest truth is that these people are going to do just fine outside of the USA. I would not be surprised if you ask them in X years if they are happy they got deported and they say yes. America is pretty ****ing overrated.

Scott Pruitt wasted no time in granting his first favor to the oil and gas industry. On Wednesday, Republican state officials from fossil fuel–heavy states sent a letter to Pruitt, the new administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, asking him to withdraw an Obama-era request for methane emissions information from oil and gas companies. “Many companies involved with this request cannot afford the time and expense of complying with an empty, heavily regulatory burden,” the letter stated. “We sincerely hope that the era of regulatory harassment is over...”
Late Thursday afternoon, the EPA announced that oil and gas companies no longer have to report to the agency how much methane they’re emitting. In a statement, Pruitt, who has close ties to the fossil fuel industry, said he wants to “assess the need for the information”—meaning that he’s considering whether it’s actually necessary to regulate methane from existing oil and gas operations, which had long complained about the Obama administration’s effort to regulate methane.
Cool!

Not quite accurate - sounds like it's 50-48 to confirm even without any Democrats?

many are D's in R states up for 18 re-election so just let them go with throwing in a meaningless yes vote. Yeah it's annoying but it's politics.

Also possibly for safety of the Jewish people themselves. This **** is not letting up.

I didn't say he didn't understand.

I said he may have misunderstood the intent of the question. If you don't understand the difference maybe you're not qualified to comment.
