For sure. The trajectory he is on, combined with base support and GOP gov't control, is horrifying. A lot of his supports cheer how he's doing what he said w.r.t Obamacare, Muslim ban, etc., but ignore what he said about tearing it all down until there's "riots in the streets" (not to mention Bannon's agenda).

I think Jon Snow has gotten a mention or two in this thread (UK broadcaster) - good on him.

Why are you guys talking about 2020. Unless Trump is stopped by forces from within the government (republicans in congress, FBI, CIA, etc.) there will not be a legitimate election in 2020. It's been FIVE ****ING WEEKS and the media is being phased out from accurately reporting the facts and you guys are talking about three and a half years from now as if the election would be fair.

because people hope its not as bad as they think it is.
how many of you will really take up arms if things get as bad as you tought?
Most of you (as in germany) will shut up in fear if the choice is a bullet in the head or resistance.
hopefully this administration is not competent enough to achieve all his goals.

Any figures to back up Trump's claim regarding the debt or has he pulled it out of his arse?

Obama passed a almost trillion dollar stimulus package to jump start the economy out of the Great Recession he inherited, Trump's inherited a strong economy nearing full employment. Not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

this is the whole point. We can't let it get to the point where they round up people who resist and jail or kill them. However, we are already really close to that point with the pushes to shut down protests forcefully and arrest people who are part of a peaceful protest because it "might" turn violent.

It is every bit as bad as people think it is and worse than almost all of them actually think it is.

I'm just going to assume it's a lie like everything else he says or tweets.

Now is the time to remember your throwaway email and take Mr. Trump's new survey.

You know how upset he gets when these go against him.

LOL free market. That rhetoric only played when our enemy was the godless Communists.

Wouldn't surprise me if the debt tweet was technically true, the Treasury gets a large infusion during tax season.

Interesting read on some of Trump's Russian ties:

They do. The first bid to build the pipeline was awarded to a Canadian company. AFAIK there's some international trade agreement that says companies can't discriminate between nationalities of companies except for national security and a couple of other reasons.

It's true, it also dropped 30 billion during Obama's last 20 days.

Any economists care to explain what this actually means to the rest of us?

Fun though it is, I'd advise against. Even dummy emails just add to the price of the list when he sells it.
