Yea, good point. Goddamn, I remember it took me like 3 months to learn it LOL.

Bringing it back to me and my backup camera, the engineers at Chevy made mine so that I can see the ball of the trailer hitch. Instantly changed my opinion of backup cameras from silly gadget to awesomest thing evar.

zikzak is right. Backing up a trailer takes a little skill, but isn't that hard to learn. Driving in the real world involves a lot of things that are hard to predict and take judgement. Loading docks can even be equipped with very specific visual or electronic signals which would make navigation pretty trivial and virtually foolproof for computers/robots.

3 months to learn on a box truck? The way I use the term "box truck" there's no trailer.

Yea, a 26' box truck. I drove once a week and no one taught me how to back into the dock. Had to learn on my own.

Threads are falling apart under the Trump administration.

From the looks of a lot of trucks people find the dock using the braille method.

Actually, didn't Volvo have a commercial recently where they had a semi-truck backing up automatically?

Speaking of autocratic's "any plausible reason confusing people about racism"

Quote:
“In my view, this is not a case about racial bias,” the judge continued, addressing the pale young man at the defense table. “If I thought that you had committed this offense for racial purposes, you would go straight to the Idaho penitentiary.”

According to the civil lawsuit filed by the victim’s family, their son had been the focus of long-term racial bullying and abuse. Howard taught him a song that glorified anal rape and the KKK, and members of the football team called him slurs including “******”, “chicken eater”, “watermelon” and “Kool-Aid”.

But on Friday, Stoker brushed aside those assertions. The victim “was not targeted, which dispels in my view any claim of a racial incident”, Stoker said. “Another individual who was involved said [the victim] was called ‘fried chicken’ because [he] said it was his favorite food ... I don’t think it’s a racial slur.”

Would anyone be willing to start another thread about Trump's alleged dubious connections to Russia as well as the ethics violations the administration has allegedly partaken in?

I think it warrants it's own topic.

Apologies if pony is slow.

In case anyone had doubts, here's Sean Spicer on why certain new media were blocked from the briefing today.

"We're going to aggressively push back. We're just not going to sit back and let, you know, false narratives, false stories, inaccurate facts get out there."

There may have been doubts due to lies coming from the White House, such as:

Quote:
White House Principal deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders downplayed the controversy. "We invited the pool so everyone was represented. We decided to add a couple of additional people beyond the pool. Nothing more than that," she said.

Russian media has already turned on trump so they definitely have moved to "lol USA" mode. Especially with "see USA restricts media, so it's normal" with their own dictator crap. Russian media are still really big fans of some other guys especially spicer.

Hopefully everybody that got banned can stop wasting their time trying to appeal to trump and devote all the resources to investigating all this bull****, not just russia but global.

There's a chance Trump is one too many levels ahead of everyone else here and things backfire in unexpected ways.

The snub toward a few media outlets was genius. They probably just had some milk and cookies in there and spoke about nothing of consequence.

I'm sorry you're all so upset, but this is apparently the new normal and I'm quite curious to see how it plays out in 2 years for midterms.
