Give it a while for the all-caps. Since you're pretentious enough to be impressed and/or intimidated by it: You're combining a false choice with an extremely dubious appeal to authority, and doing so with all the unwarranted smugness that is your signature. Vintage Clovis.

It’s hard not to panic when you’re losing thousand of dollars every day. People go on tilt and make bad plays after a cooler like this.

Is this finally Trump unchained? First the surprise decision to withdraw from Syria and now the shutdown over the wall.

Further I work in the financial services industry and the real people who are impacted are those nearing retirement and retirees who are overweight equities. Like these people who went to some moron advisor that told them to just stay 100% in the market and withdraw 4% per year you'll be fine. It doesn't work like that in a down market.
most will be in such a huge shock as a good % of mutual funds are highly concentrated in AAPL , GOOG, FB etc etc

Ethics officials said Whitaker should recuse from the Mueller probe, but his advisers told him not to, officials say
A senior Justice Department ethics official concluded acting attorney general Matthew G. Whitaker should recuse from overseeing special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s probe examining President Trump, but advisers to Whitaker recommended the opposite and he has no plans to step aside, according to people familiar with the matter.

Yeah he asked the ethics officers, they said he should so he essentially replaced them with political appointees to say yes. The whole reason the ethics people say no is the conflict of interest puts a real cloud over the AG Office and potentially impacts every single thing they do.

Sure he will likely show the investigation into some turmoil but long term he might be setting the stage for anything else he tries to do to be easily unwound. So I guess silver lining?

You have to remember that Trump thinks like a seven year old child. He is scared to visit the troops in a war zone, so he brings them all home - problem solved.
