I get where Nate is coming from but I don't buy it. These companies aren't opposing racism out of some altruistic desire to fit a cultural norm. They're opposing racism because they have minority employees who don't want to work for a company which supports this ****. It wrecks morale.

I worked for one of the biggest companies in the world, which took a very progressive stand that no one should say "All Lives Matter". Hint: the CEO didn't do it because he sympathizes with BLM. He did it because he has tens of thousands of minority employees and didn't want to see this issue tear the company apart.

It's a feature of integrated employment and gay people not having to hide in the closet anymore. The system is working.
