If they checked ids to get on the plane why do they need to check them coming off?

Are people hiding for free airplane rides? Are invisible jets dropping people off and swapping them out mid flight?

I've found myself making the mistake of dismissing lots of Trumps bull**** because it's such transparently offensive nonsense. Like, in my brain I kind of checked off gay people as needing help anymore. Everyone I interact with agrees with me on the issue, and I forgot how many asshats there are out there who are completely on board with discriminating against them. Similarly, the concept of blatant racism is so ridiculous to me, so obviously wrong, that I've let my guard down. Subconsciously I think "no way they will actually do THAT!" I guess I'm trying to say that just because some of this **** from Trump is obviously reprehensible, it's not guaranteed to be stopped simply on account of being terrible and doing immense harm to real people.
