Major Trump administration climate report says damages are ‘intensifying across the country’
The federal government on Friday released a long-awaited report with an unmistakable message: The effects of climate change, including deadly wildfires, increasingly debilitating hurricanes and heat waves, are already battering the United States, and the danger of more such catastrophes is worsening.

The report’s authors, who represent numerous federal agencies, say they are more certain than ever that climate change poses a severe threat to Americans' health and pocketbooks, as well as to the country’s infrastructure and natural resources.

...

The congressionally mandated document — the first of its kind issued during the Trump administration — details how climate-fueled disasters and other types of worrisome changes are becoming more commonplace throughout the country and how much worse they could become in the absence of efforts to combat global warming.

Did anyone have to deal with deplorables yesterday?

I was at my buddy's house all day. There were about 15 of us. No one talked politics but right before the Saints game, they showed the national anthem. This one woman stood up proud as a peacock and put her hand over her heart. No one else stood up and most of us were just looking at her. After the anthem, she started to whine about how we weren't respecting the flag. My buddy cut her off and said "Do you remember when you puked on the guy in front of us during the national anthem at the Giants game?" She started crying and left LOL.

Carrey nails my Trump Thanksgiving feelings. I feel sorry for Matty's superpatriot lady.

My brother's religious in-laws were happy OC went blue. They are retired, but the mom has a philosophy degree. I think they were republican or republican-curious, but they're definitely anti-Trump now.

Your buddy gets an A+ haha... If I was there, I might have reacted to her standing by kneeling, then responded to her incoming bull**** with, "This is Thanksgiving, and I'm thankful that I live in a country where kneeling during the national anthem is protected by our constitution! God Bless America!"

Agreed just say heck yeah lets build that wall. As soon as Mexico sends us the money as you said they were paying for it.

Nobody in favor of the wall gives a crap about who pays for it, or even really if it actually keeps browns out. They want a huge brick-and-mortal symbol that stands for the IDEA of keeping browns out.

New York State’s Lawsuit Against Trump Foundation Can Proceed, Judge Rules
A state judge ruled on Friday that a lawsuit by the New York State attorney general could proceed against President Trump and the Trump Foundation over allegations of misused charitable assets, self-dealing and campaign finance violations during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Perhaps. That's not the point of the tactic.

It's just an easy way to maybe pull a fraction of a percent away from him. We don't need much.

I realize that most of his supporters are in no matter what, but for those who are wavering, some easily pointed out bull**** may do the trick. And there is essentially no downside to doing it.
