The whole bent of his popularity is that he has the ability to rile up and piss of leftists, and he could only do that because he was continually given platforms.

With no platform, he has nothing. The venom filled right will turn on him in second.

Similar to how garbage political books written by conservative pundits artificially inflate their NYT sales positions by shipping in bulk to various places where the elderly congregate, Breitbart only reached this status by ensuring that they are the default Internet Explorer home page in most retirement communities.

Man Evan McMullin ruined Milo's career. Wasn't one of those form the Joe Rogan Experience? How the hell did it take $250k worth of oppo research to come up with that?

Pretty scary yes it does appear to be #3 in the USA online.

Lol yeah one was from joe Rogan. I listen to joe's podcast but pretty sure I always skipped milo because he is a troll. Lots of joe Rogan podcast fans are fans of Milo.

The comments on Breitbart about milo resigning are funny as they all blame the left.

The funny thing about the milo deal is people expose themselves by first defending the troll then blaming the wrong people for what happened.

Probably the same reason some of the **** Trump said on Howard Stern was overlooked, the fruit is just too low hanging to be expected.

The London-based blog about the tech startup scene,*the Kernel, is being sued through an employment tribunal for non-payment of thousands of pounds by two of its former contributors, and is said to owe thousands more to other former staff.

When launched nine months ago by Milo Yiannopoulos, the founder and sole remaining director of the Kernel's publisher, Sentinel Media, the magazine-style blog claimed that it would "fix European technology journalism" and write about the burgeoning tech startup scene with a fresh eye. But its apparently impressive roster of staff has dwindled in the past weeks as internal arguments, particularly about payment, have grown.

My hunch would be that it slipped through the cracks for a while because:

- Liberals find so much of his speech to be appalling that they would not necessarily identify those comments as uniquely horrifying or particularly likely to be the "One Easy Trick for Getting CPAC to ditch Milo"

and

- Many conservatives were so invested in the narrative of Milo as fun loving troll who could "expose liberal hypocrisy" and insulate them from charges of homophobia that they had no incentive to seek out or publicize the worst aspects of his speech/behavior.

I know he's a racist POS and there's history on him going back through even high school, not debating that part. He's not giving white power hand signs in the interview

I think you underestimate the inherent arrogance of those in positions of power.

There is no humbleness within that arch-type, only hubris.

Sending secret signals is hugely important to the racist base. Not saying he's doing it for sure, but there would be a good reason for it if so.

Random post but I'm rewatching The Newsroom for the first time. When I watched it originally my opinion basicly was "this is pretty cool, but Sorkin became way too preachy/whiny.". I totally don't feel that way about it anymore, I even think "HE TRIED TO WARN US ABOUT ALL THIS" during certain parts.

This is, no bull****, exactly the kind of thing Alex Jones says when people ask him why the lizard people constantly embed symbols of their top-secret world domination plans in public buildings and the like.

They don't need to signal to the hard-core racists, they've got the message. Right now, they're focused on signaling to the soft-core racists, and they won't be using hand-signals.

Thumb and forefinger, then imagine the tips of his fingers below that form an uneven, mis-shapen and extremely wide stem. It's nonsense.
