Anyway I googled sweden and brussels news and found nothing (train derail in brussel but no attack claimed).
fair for no attacks but his tone definitely implied an incident in sweden last night and so far everyone says lol no. We're so on gotcha he didn't really say that when we don't realize things like if I took it as he meant an attack; how many of his supporters do you think also took it that way?

Ahhhaha so I'm like the only person ITF, if not in the world, that actually really liked the "game theory" tale?

yeh I freaked out too and googled the news.
I mean its natural to try to bring him down by any means but this maniac gonna take advantage of these stuffs(he/his team).
its almost like a bait here(and I cant even tell if its a bait or not cause this dude never finishes his sentences and/or makes no sense most of the time).

One of his *campaigning* point at the moment is fake news everywhere.
people must not give him the chance to give exemple of fake interpretation.
opposition must be crystal clear (unfair game but hes in power atm).

"who would believe this?"

way too many ****ing people

Can anybody report on Tucker Carlson's report in this video? I assume it's all lies since they say like 50 times "the crime statistics show an incredible surge," without actually showing crime statistics. They also quote a figure that 0.33% of refugees (not 33%, but literally 0.33%) get jobs, which is undoubtedly a distortion.

I never watch Fox, so maybe kind of derp is standard, but man, I feel sorry for people having their brains exposed to that on a regular basis (or worse yet, from a young age). No wonder we have the government we have.

Carlson's performance in that video is truly laughable, too. He's really shooting for that Best Actor in a Drama Emmy nod.

Terrorism is defined as Muslim attacks on White Christians and maybe Jews. So no, Muslims attacking Muslims is just some stuff that happened. No message there.

Not for the purposes of this definition, Muslim is defined as anyone who practices Islam, has any lineage from a predominately Muslim country as far back as can be traced, or has a remotely-Muslim-y sounding first, last or middle name.

Which raises an interesting hypothesis - if a Muslim shot up an atheist convention, would it be news? Some things are unknowable.

Yea it would. A lot of atheists get invited into the True American fold when anti Islam stuff is going on. Any other time they're thrown out though.

It's like Trump minions are just parodies of actual people.

I assume that most worshipers are worse than Inso0 and kyrpsdflo. I mostly skip his posts (kyr has been ignored now for a while) but when I do read, I just refuse to believe people actually think like him. People just can't be so ****ing blind to the laughing stock that Trump has made this country become in 4 ****ing weeks.

That would definitely count. A muslim shot up a gay night club and they counted that. I think gays and atheists are pretty close on their hate spectrum.

Also I don't think it's the targets as much as the location. They tried to use the mosque shooting in Quebec when they thought the perps were Muslim.

So it's basically Muslims shooting innocents in the west = terrorism. Muslims committing the same sort of acts in the middle east = unremarkable.

The story began with a Jan. 24 speech that Representative Lamar Smith, Republican of Texas, gave on the House floor regarding what he described as the unfair way the national media was covering President Trump. He said for instance that the media ignored highs in consumer confidence, which of course it did not. And he ended with an admonition for his constituents: “Better to get your news directly from the president. In fact, it might be the only way to get the unvarnished truth.”

His remarks caught the notice, and the ire, of a longtime San Antonio-area journalist and commentator, Rick Casey, who hosts a weekly public affairs program “Texas Week” on KLRN. He ends each week’s show with his own commentary, which also runs in The San Antonio Express-News.

Mr. Casey has been able to work for “40 years as a professional smart ass,” he told me, because “I’m not really a bomb thrower — I’ve watched politicians for so many years that I know how to be strong about something without being unfriendly.”

But Mr. Smith’s comments bothered him enough that he wrote up a stemwinder of a closing commentary. “Smith’s proposal is quite innovative for America,” it went. “We’ve never really tried getting all our news from our top elected official. It has been tried elsewhere, however. North Korea comes to mind.”

All set to go, the commentary was mentioned in a Facebook promotion for the show, which in turn caught the eye of Mr. Smith’s office, which called the station to inquire about the segment.

Forty minutes before the show aired, the station’s president and chief executive, Arthur Rojas Emerson, left a message for Mr. Casey saying he was pulling the commentary and replacing it with an older one. Mr. Casey told me he missed the call, but saw what happened with his own eyes.

At a meeting the next Monday, Mr. Casey said, Mr. Emerson expressed concern “that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting was under attack and that this would add to it.” The Corporation for Public Broadcasting provides financing for public stations, including KLRN, and Mr. Trump’s election has heightened fears that its financing will be cut.
Luckily it worked out in the end, but a lot of public news organizations are going to be stepping on egg shells, if they continue to exist after Trump.

I should point out this about the CPB and another President

Quote:
The CPB's vulnerability to political pressures became apparent after Richard Nixon was elected president in 1968. By 1971 the Nixon Administration was in conflict with the CPB over controversial programming, perceiving anti-Administration bias in such programs as Washington Week in Review, Bill Moyers, and The Great American Dream Machine. The documentary Banks and the Poor, which alleged that many major banks discriminated against poor customers, also alienated members of Congress by displaying a long list of the names of members of the House and Senate who had ties to the banking industry.

Soon public broadcasting was being denounced by Vice President Spiro Agnew, local stations were being encouraged to be more autonomous, and Nixon vetoed the CPB's appropriations bill for 1973. CPB bowed to pressure from the administration, agreeing to restructure itself and its dealings with other parts of the public television system.

At some point someone has got to ask Spicy what happened in Sweden, right?

So what's his canned response?
02-18-2017 , 11:43 PM
The Trump administration moves from one thing to the next so quickly that early on I felt a need to write everything down, as it's easy to forget even major things that happened a few days ago.

The result is a project--largely cut and pasted from news sources--summarizing Trump's first 100 days. After I posted the first 10 days, a few 2p2ers and some folks on Twitter very kindly encouraged me to keep going, so here are days 21-30.

If you're interested in this sort of thing, there's a sticky with days 1-20 here
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/41...-days-1651105/

Day 21
  • Trump says that from now on he will pick the reporters allowed in the WH.
  • Sends tweets saying Sen John McCain should not be commenting on the Yemen raid, and that the raid was a complete success.
  • Spokesperson Conway tells Fox & Friends viewers to "go buy Ivanka's stuff."
  • Asked, "Do you believe Conway crossed an ethical line here?" Press Sec Spicer replies, "Kellyanne has been counseled, and that's all we're going to go with."
  • Chairman of the House Oversight Committee says the Conway plug was “Wrong, wrong, wrong. It is wholly unacceptable no if, ands or buts about it.”
  • Jeff Sessions begins his time as US Attorney General by parroting the president's false statistics about the crime rate.
  • He also looks into weakening Obama-era protections for transgender children.
  • Former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke tweets, "Mr. Trump’s appointment of Bannon, Flynn and Sessions are the first steps in the project of taking America back."
  • 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rules against Trump's travel ban.
  • Judges calls the WH's claims of exclusive executive branch power regarding the ban "contrary to the fundamental structure of our constitutional democracy."
  • Tweets "SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!"
  • Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch finds Trump's criticism of a federal judge to be "disheartening and demoralizing."
  • Trump insists that Gorsuch's words were misrepresented.
  • This in spite of their meaning being confirmed by Gorsuch's spokesman and two Senators.

Day 22
  • Trump mentions plans to privatize air traffic control.
  • Says "Pocahontas is now the face of your party"
  • Pocahontas is the president's favorite nickname for Sen Elizabeth Warren.
  • Has not nominated any second-tier officials—i.e. deputy, under, or assistant secretaries—in any major cabinet department.
  • Nixes deputy Sec of State candidate, Elliot Abrams, after hearing that Abrams said critical things about him.
  • At a Senate listening session dedicated to new Justice Gorsuch, the president veers off course again and spends several minutes talking about the election.
  • Claims voters were illegally bussed in from Massachusetts to vote in New Hampshire.
  • After a congressional rebuke suggesting she be suspended or fired for plugging Ivanka's brand, spokesperson Conway says that the president supports her 100%.
  • WH spokesperson Salena Zito tells a CNN panel that it is clear that Conway was joking when she made the plug.
  • More than half of Trump voters believe that the fictional Bowling Green Massacre is real.
  • Says he may write a new travel ban order.
  • Asked what he would change in the new order, answers "very little."
  • US Officials confirm some of the details of the infamous Steele Dossier.
  • None of the more interesting details have been confirmed or debunked at this time.
  • Standing Rock anti-pipeline activists interviewed by FBI terror task force.
  • It's reported that National Security Adviser Flynn talked sanctions with Russia in December, then repeatedly denied that he did.

Day 23
  • Unleashes a wave of immigration raids across the country.
  • Tweets “Our legal system is broken! "77% of refugees allowed into U.S. since travel reprieve hail from seven suspect countries." (WT) SO DANGEROUS!”
  • The surge is a backlog of previously vetted refugees who were blocked due to the travel ban.
  • (WT) is the Washington Times, a conservative paper founded and owned by the Unification Church, aka the Moonies.
  • Blacks out windows at Mar-A-Lago resort to keep press pool from taking pictures of him playing golf.
  • Once tweeted, "The habitual vacationer, @BarackObama, is now in Hawaii. This vacation is costing taxpayers $4 milion +++ while there is 20% unemployment."
  • $1 million per day is spent housing the current First Lady in a Manhattan penthouse.
  • Reports emerge that National Security Adviser Flynn lied to the vice president and other colleagues about his talks with Russia.
  • When asked about Flynn, the president falsely pretends be unaware of the growing controversy.
  • Given that the Justice Dept pointedly warned Trump and gave him specifics regarding Flynn's collusion as far back as Day 10.
  • Trump will not ask for Flynn's resignation until late on day 25.

Day 24
  • Tweets "The crackdown on illegal criminals is merely the keeping of my campaign promise. Gang members, drug dealers & others are being removed!"
  • Back in August 2016 announced that wife Melania would hold a press conference regarding her immigration status.
  • Nothing like this has occurred.
  • Delays trip to the United Kingdom to avoid a planned snub by their Parliament while it's in session.
  • WH Policy Director Miller makes the Sunday talk show rounds.
  • Miller repeats the president's lie about voter fraud in New Hampshire.
  • When asked for evidence, Miller says, "It is a fact, and you will not deny it."
  • He claims that deportations will “prevent crime before it happens.”
  • Miller also claims a 2000 mile wall on the border "will pay for itself many, many, many times over."
  • Finally, in the arena of national security, Miller says the president's power "will not be questioned."
  • Trump Tweets, "Congratulations Stephen Miller-on representing me this morning on the various Sunday morning shows. Great job!"
  • After tweeting eleven times about Obama's golfing, has played golf twice so far as president.

  • Foreclosure specialist Steven Mnuchin confirmed as Treasury secretary by a vote of 53-47.
  • NSA adviser Flynn resigns amid accusations of colluding with Russian ambassador during the transition.
  • Flynn is the third Trump campaign team member to resign over Russian ties.

Day 26

  • Undisclosed payments would presumably include bribes and kickbacks to foreign officials.
  • 35 mental health professionals sign a letter to the NYT that states, "We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr. Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as president."

  • WH has no immediate comment on these developments.
  • Also no comment regarding multiple Russian aircraft buzzing a U.S. destroyer patrolling in the Black Sea.
  • House Panel votes against requesting Trump's tax returns.
  • Intercepted calls show that the president's campaign team had repeated contacts with Russian intelligence officials throughout 2016.

Day 27

  • According to the rules, It is up to the president to determine her punishment.
  • Trump unfollows Conway on Twitter.
  • Former campaign manager Lewandowski is telling prospective lobbying clients that he has access to the president's Twitter account.
  • It's unclear whether he claims to have the password, or merely the president's ear on what to post.

  • During a Day 5 interview, former national security adviser Flynn lied to the FBI, telling them he had never discussed sanctions with Russia.
  • This is a felony offense.
  • The FBI is not expected to file any charges.
  • Defense Industry Exec Robert Harward declines offer to replace Flynn.

Day 29
  • House Oversight chair Jason Chaffetz seeks criminal charges against an employee who helped set up Hillary Clinton's email account.
  • Chaffetz has refused repeated requests to investigate the Trump campaign.
  • Tweets "The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!"

  • As with all of their company trips, taxpayer money will be used for Eric and Donald Jr's secret service travel and hotel costs.
  • Trump family trips have cost $11.3 million over the first month of the administration.
  • Obama family travel expenses averaged $12.1 million per year,
  • One month into his new term, holds what is billed as a campaign rally in Florida, ostensibly for his 2020 re-election (?)
  • Attacks the media again, quoting Thomas Jefferson as saying “'nothing can be believed which is seen in a newspaper.' ''Truth itself,' he said, 'becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle.'”
  • Jefferson also wrote "Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter."
  • After several more minutes of undermining the free press, goes on to essentially repeat his 2016 campaign platform, as follows:
  • Fixing the "terrible mess" the country is in.
  • Repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
  • Vastly stepping up harassment and deportation of illegal immigrants.
  • Removal of regulations preventing air, water and soil pollution by oil, coal and gas interests.
  • Passing a $1 trillion infrastructure program.
  • "Rebuilding" the military.
  • All while reducing tax rates.
  • Abrogation of trade agreements and the introduction of tariffs.
  • Law enforcement task forces for the inner cities.
  • Showing support for the EU-undermining Brexit,
  • And of course, once again rehashing the 2016 election and his victory over the "dishonest media's" predictions.
  • Speaking about terrorism, alludes to some sort of incident "last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? They took in large numbers."
  • Nothing of note happened last night in Sweden.

Notes
In the Melbourne speech on day 30, according to a few Twitter wags, Trump also apparently did a stock racist 1940's impression of Japanese PM Shinzō Abe. I am not going to watch the speech to confirm. I pored through the damn transcript, and that should be enough for any person.

I didn't think Trump's rally had the same pop as the ones during the campaign. He seemed to be reciting a formula, having to work hard to infuse it with the same old time religion. His "we're going to do this and we're going to do that" is already sounding tired. Hard to see it holding up 6 months or a year from now.

Lookout for the day Trump's promises turn to excuses and the cheers to guffaws and boos.

Don't think this is really possible from his base at this point to be honest. We're way past propaganda to the point of straight up brainwashed. The economy won't suffer significantly over the next four years if he continues to just do not much about it besides some token nods to defunct coal industries. If there's no major domestic attacks, he's the GOAT. If there is, he was right and we should have been MORE SCARED of the browns. It's pretty scary how effectively he's set up his domestic policy to be construed as win/win for him no matter what.

I would like to thank Trump voters for setting our country back a generation, maybe even two.

Now I can't find the tweets. I may have to ask for that note to be removed, 'cause I'm not watching through the 55 minute speech. Here's the quote from the transcript on Abe.

In fact, when the Prime Minister of Japan, Prime Minister Abe, was great. Great guy. When he came over, he said, thank you. I said for what. You saved us many, many millions of dollars on the F-35 fighter jet.

Yeah I mean the gay Latino night club got pulled into the fold for a few days there. But just imagine if that had been a white church instead? 50 men, women and children gunned down. This country would be a different place right now.

If Trump/Bannon wanna be dictator for life of the richest country on earth, all they need from here is the balls to pull something like that off. I'm sure Putin could help.
  1. Pose as ISIS online
  2. Groom as many home-grown recruits as you can
  3. Help them plan - getting guns is the easy part
  4. Wait for one or two to actually go through with it
  5. Cover your tracks
