think we're all at this point. it depends on Comey and the independant commission-thingy that republicans are starting to get on board with.

But it's far from guaranteed they wont be compromised or find anything

You think Trump is paying attention to the stuff he is briefed about? He only cares about himself, why would he bother to put 2+2 together for some national security hub bub?

Sometimes it takes a few tries..
Using the escape key to cancel page loading makes it easier to get the timing right.

Buy a WaPo subscription though. They are doing great work and deserve to be supported. (I haven't bought one, because I'm not American and you can save your own damn country).

one thing that always stuck with me was when he held a press conference maybe a month ago and mentioned tiny little cameras in hotel rooms that you couldn't see. what reason would anyone have (let alone the president) to ever publicly mention this?
found a link to trump talking about the cameras in case anyone was interested. quoting since i couldn't edit the post.

Donald Trump talks about the spy cameras in hotel rooms

The tweet is a day old. I thought we already knew that Trump knew about the call well before Pence found out on Feb. 9?

Obviously it's not possible to convince these people he's not actually creating jobs.
As someone who doesn't really know any confirmed Trumpkins in real life, this mindset fascinates me.

What does/would he say if you picked out a specific example like going after Hillary. Obviously everyone heard him say he was going to prosecute her pre-election and then post-election he basically says it was just something that played well that he has no interest in doing.

This one is succinct enough that you can easily play back the tapes on that if he doesn't recall.

If that's not a real promise, then how does he (and should you) know which ones are real and which ones aren't.

If I'm the CEO of Exxon, making 8 figures a year, and I give that up, I'm not going to be happy about **** like this.

Hell, in real life I make $14 an hour, and if I were regularly disrespected by my boss like this, I'd give serious consideration to quitting.

It's a "real" promise if it's what you care about on a higher priority and/or if he actually follows through

Obviously there's a big connection between what he follows through with and what retroactively becomes what was actually important for you

Eveything else is just bluster, is just "Trump being Trump"

My dad says "Trump isn't who I would draw up, but I care about jobs"

Although I think I'm conflating other people I've talked to with my dad. Maybe it's just all the wrong coincidences with my dad. Because anytime I've ever been at his house and read the newspaper, he's underlined in red various parts of any article that is ever about bringing jobs to his home state. Just thinks it's a perfect one to one relationship and not a scam, a lying stat, a ploy to get governments competing against each other to offer tax incentives

And this is a guy who has like 4 favorite sayings and one of them is "figures lie and liars figure

I mean it's horrible to paint the elclectorate as functionally illiterate or even just not having the most horsepower possible upstairs, but how is this not a result of people being unable to reason on a high enough level to tell that what they "like" or "feel in their gut" is right and anything otherwise is just an attack, just sour grapes, just trying to GET CLICKS

He, and millions of people, are fully on board with FAKE NEWS being major networks and they were before this week. As soon as the stories came out about the influence of fake news on social media, BOOM it can be used against the most mainstream of sources

Which obviously to an extent there is always bias but these people are just like IT'S BINARY BECAUSE EVEYTHING IS BINARY

IT'S FAKE OR ITS SOMETHING THAT AGREES WITH MY OPINION I FORMED BEFORE I HAD ANY EVIDENCE

Kushner is involved in this Russian ****. I can feel it.

trump's daughter/son in law are interacting more with foreign heads than the actual sec of state, a position that requires congressional approval.

Just like obama though.

Can someone link me to something that has the exact comments and venue. Didn't see it in the article or with quick google search.

If they're referring to his "One state, Two States, who gives a **** as long as they're happy". I'm not sure anyone took that as an actual policy shift and instead perceived it as his usual drivel, although I'm sure it technically was.
