One thing trump's team is good at is redirecting the story every weekend. (Although who knows when it will come out)

it is quite amazing when you think about it. the guy was nearly dead to rights after flynn resigned but then largely kills the story by giving an unhinged press conference, making a random jobs speech, and sending out a few despotic tweets.

Yeah, as others above have pointed out, this is just Frum saying that he assumes (since Trump is calling these outlets the enemy) that Trump knows they have a damaging story coming out. I don't think a) there's any reason to think that's true and b) there's anything that could actually be damaging to Trump. I mean, what are they gonna do, find tape of him admitting sexual assault or asking Russia to interfere in our elections?

I mostly meant the phrasing, but it could be a coincidence for sure.

Regarding Trump, safety and civil liberties, it's a comforting thought that for the rest of his life he'll never be able to just safely take a walk or randomly go anywhere aside from a few tiny well protected places.

My number one hope for the rest of his life is that he's impeached and in prison, if not in actual prison, then in his apartment and afraid to leave.
