Jesus, I thought the US would have reserved its meddling without any direct interests to symbolic things America stood for like freedom of the press, opposing human rights abuses, freedom of religion, etc. But nope we're now symbolically putting our international pressure in service of anti immigration white supremacists

They did pretty well for themselves considering that by and large the only "talent" they brought to the table was a capacity for extreme violence. But ya, essentially all it took were some Title 3 wiretaps to tear them apart. For a group that ostensibly prided themselves on an adherence to Omerta, they sure naively talked a lot on phones, and behind closed doors, and in cars, but then, who has time to go to an isolated field to talk business?

How many protests have you attended so far?

Man what a waste of paragliding over trumps golf course. Firstly although I think stickball is one of the dumbest most boring games ever invented even I know that well under par is a good thing. And Second even if it made sense it's far too civil for the nazi in chief. You're committing a criminal offense breaching a no fly zone you may as well go for it. For the fewer letters you could have had "Trump you're a c***".

Yes and all the omertà stuff went out the window once the witness protection program started. Life in prison Is way less fun than living out your days in Phoenix working in a car wash or whatever.

RATM disbanded almost 20 years ago. Since then the best thing we've had in that regard is what? American Idiot?

Also when System of a Down broke up (another great band with politically-driven songs), Daron Malakian created Scars on Broadway. Their politically driven songs are more subtle but still exist. They also aren't all about American politics as the band and its members are of Armenian descent so they cover quite a bit of that as well. Like this song "Lives".

Of course you have their less subtle songs such as "Dictator".

System's original lead singer, Serj Tankian, has a solo career. The music isn't quite as heavy as Scars on Broadway but is also political. This one, "Harakiri", is about how a capitalist economy destroys mother nature out of its own best interests.

Man, I had completely forgotten about Brownback, and I don't think I even knew he wasn't governor of Kansas anymore. What a complete scumbag.

For any non-Brits that aren't aware Robinson was jailed for being in contempt of court on multiple occasions. He was broadcasting live on on Facebook about a trial that had a blanket ban on reporting imposed on it until after the trial had finished. His behaviour ran the risk of causing a trial to collapse so sending him to prison was entirely proportional to the offences that he committed.

His real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and he is a midget former football hooligan opportunist rabble rousing hypocrite. Assaulted a police officer who had been called to his home by his partner to stop him beating her. Also has convictions for mortgage fraud and using a false passport.
His latest mission was saving the world from muslim paedophile gangs through the bizarre route of jeapordising their trials
When his pal the EDL founder member Richard Price was convicted on child porn charges in 2011 Yaxley defended him claiming he'd been set up and only condemned him when faced with a barage of criticism from other EDL members.
He has also been rather quiet about EDL senior member Leigh McMillan being sentenced to 17 years for grooming and abusing a 10 year old girl.
Good people

David let's do some second level thinking.

1) Why are you asking these questions right now, in the context of recent indictments?

2) What do you think the people responding to you think the answer to question 1 is?

You’d think think someone who lived through Watergate and the Lewinsky scandal would know the basics of how impeachments work.

Not as many as I'd like. Most recent was gun protest last week where the goal was to shut down the Dan Ryan in Chicago. Also attended the mega large woman's march downtown and at O'hare airport over the Muslim ban. A couple of smaller ones such as Starbucks, Trump Tower, and BLM marches. I'd say maybe 7-8 in all. I'm not a political junkie and am unaware of when and where a lot of marches take place. I go when I know someone who's going tells me about one. If there's not already, there should be a central site listing, organizing, and coordinating these events.

Attending a march is exhilarating for anyone who's never been to one. It's a good way to release tension for those who feel incredibly frustrated and powerless by what's going on. I also think the optics are good and sends a message to politicians to do their jobs. I'll be attending more and hope everyone else does the same.

It's the same everywhere and is probably a combination of millennials rebelling against their rebellious parents by becoming totally straight and dull, and housing markets that price them out unless they get very serious about their careers in their early 20s.

Sage Francis had good anti-Bush and Iraq War stuff. At least it seemed of high quality at the time to me.

Also Immortal Technique was someone I was into as a teen.

Calle 13.

Atmosphere had some political songs.

Makeshift Patriot is an absolutely amazing song by Sage Francis describing the aftermath of 9-11
