solid

Seems with all the hubbub everyone forgot about him pretending to be his own publicist

Watch.
Hillary's a really hard target for him to go after. If Trump goes full Bananna Republic and tries to jail opponents, the Dems in Congress are gonna activate beast mode out of pure self-preservation.

It seems like Trump is establishing a central theme that the media are the bad guys. If he's really gonna prosecute people it's much more likely that he goes after reporters and tries to get sedition laws back on the books. It's very easy for Trump to use CNN as a punching bag with little pushback.

I usually just smugly think about how much smarter I am because I'm way too smart to post it.

You've got plenty of time to find a proper candidate to unseat the Drumpf. Put it to good use. Don't let Warren be HRC 2.0.

But you're right, if I did my pre-interview Googling on a candidate for any job in my office and this Tweet pops up, I probably call and cancel immediately.

Unfortunately, he was already given the job.

So many variations of the "cut the guy some slack" argument when it comes to Trump. Similar to the "it's only been 3 weeks, give him a chance" that my pro-Trump friends and family keep feeding me.

The stuff he tweets is moronic, petty, false, inflammatory, and makes the US look like a laughingstock. It's not just the occasional tweet. It's almost all of them.

I assume this involves loudly ranting on Facebook Live before eventually voting for your own imprisonment.

Yes? Of course I would want a doctor with a high IQ. I don't get it.

I'm going to have to watch this press conference at some point today. Given that most of the jokes and memes are about Trump citing incorrect electoral college statistics, I'm going in thinking it's you guys that are blowing this way out of proportion.

I'll be most interested to see the first 10-15 mins, because that's what the average person is going to sit through before getting bored and going back to Facebook. If that's decent, you guys are cooked. Nobody likes a sore loser.

I think you're all in for a very long 4 years.
Yeah when he said the 9th circuit had been overturned 80% Of the time cool cool.

Also half the press conference focused on the media and him winning the electiion, two things he should not be talking about at all at this point and time.

Oh yeah and he claimed he was the least racist and least anti-Semitic person, doubled down on his impossible illegal leaks to fake news combo.

It's not like we expect you to watch it and get it. Most everyone who is silly enough to still be defending trump ignorantly just screamed "hell yeah he showed the media" which wasn't even a little bit true.

So no do I think you are honestly going to look at it with a critical eye.

The fact that he threw a press conference solely for the reason to change the perception his administration is spiraling out of control.

It's not like there was big or pressing news that needed a press conference. I suspect you can't even agree that having a press conference to cry about the press and crow about winning the election was a horrible look.

What does "Dems beast mode" even look like? A series of strongly worded letters?

Eventually you might get to the final form, which is accusing people you disagree with on 2p2 of being smug and thinking they're smarter than everyone else, so all your buddies will read it and marvel at how insightful and smart YOU are.

We have at least a few of those around here. So smart! Super smart! The best smarts!

Because you voted for him.

I just smugly think about what it would be like to smugly think something like this, and then don't go there because I'm too smart to even think about it.

I thought about trying nootropics once. But then realized it would be like Bo Jackson taking steroids. What's the point?

Not really where I was going with that.

I have said on more than one occasion that I would prefer if Trump would stfu and go back to working on policy. But then the focus would be on stopping conservative policy instead of Trump's incoherent and meaningless tweets, so maybe it's all for the best.

But he's gonna MAGA, so yeah, cut him some slack!

is Chris Christie going to actually be tried for Bridgegate? I saw that the judge ruled that there was probable cause but that's the last I heard other than him eating meatloaf with Trump.

Insoo on the verge of a nervous breakdown as he is coming to realize he voted for an idiot. lol.

I strongly think we a rule itt that posting mimic or fake twitter posts is a bannable offense. All these "comedy" accounts only ruin the conversation.

MAGA has to be the single most reliable social signal ever created. Every single person who has used it in a non-ironic fashion can be completely ignored as not worthy of consideration. Not since the eye-holes cut in bed sheets has a better social signal of ignorance been developed.

Honestly not sure, I know these guys are kinda spineless but if they start legitimately thinking their families might get thrown in jail, we might see them acting like a bone fide resistance party.

I'm not convinced they will die off. Young open-minded people often turn into old closed-minded people. We've been waiting for them to die off for decades but new ones keep taking their place.
