I think this is why the GOP refuses to investigate him. They know once you open that door, you can't close it. They want to do as much as they can now before there's no choice but to investigate him.

I'm kinda starting to be OK w/ Trump as POTUS if it means the **** hits the fan right before 2018 election and the GOP is curb stomped.

There is no statute of limitations for Treason afaik. They should just refuse to pursue charges against all these people and when enough of them have openly admitted to treason then just round them all up one day and put them all away.
