As our allies respond with massively increased budgets to keep an eye on us we would become hamstrung to deal with enemies and allies. Definitely think McConnell would do this.

What purpose would I serve here if I just contributed to the echo chamber?

Maybe you want to be on the wrong side of history

You are giving WAY too much credit to congress and their ability to look past partisanship.

I mean, maybe... but then again, you consider a 12% healthcare contribution and 5% pension contribution to be "rape" so... maybe I just don't want to throw my hat in with you?

Guys, relax. Donald Trump is not going to nuke anyone.

Spoiler:
well, probably not

They are enjoying all the fruits of government service and not fulfilling their oaths to the Constitution and the country.

I suppose I remain a naive and hopeless idealist but I assume between the dozens or so Congress members that get briefings, one would stand up and capture that Profile in Courage award. Should be low hanging fruit here. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison for opposing an illegitimate regime; these ****ers are holding the goods on incriminating evidence on Trump but not acting? If anyone is in a position to act and get top-tier legal defense and tremendous institutional support, it's a Congressmember. They'd almost surely never see the inside of a prison if there's any there there.

Like I said, I have just enough slim hopes in our country that's not what is happening.
To be fair we don't know the sources of all the sources.

The fact that you can only address your opponents by lying uncontrollably betrays how intellectually bankrupt your political beliefs are.

edit: the dinosaur thing doesn't help either.

Under the smoke of Trump insanity, conservative causes are being pushed all across the country. The left is doing irreparable harm to their future viability via these temper tantrums, and Pence doesn't seem like the guy who would actively run for the big chair even after inheriting it.

Just about ANY actual conservative is going to look like the most perfectly reasonable candidate ever, odds are the country is still going to be riding the Trump hype train, and the path is cleared for Scott Walker 46th POTUS.
More likely is that more and more of the country is seeing the so-called 'conservative' platform for the scam job it really is. Because at the end of the day most Republicans just don't live in the real world and that and their allegiance to someone like Trump is showing just how foolish that really is. And how dangerous.

Woah there, friend. We can both be good people. No need to take it down this road. I'm sure you and even "Union Rape!" guy up there are reasonable dudes in real life. The list of 2p2 people I'd decline a lunch invite from is maybe 3 people long. I'm certain the rest of you are simply friends I haven't met yet.

Walk it back.

I do think you guys are being a little tough on Trump tbh. I had actually never heard of uranium before and so I found the Q&A to be quite instructive.

Just who the hell do you think you are?

Meaning you and all the other trolls you have brought clambering up from under their bridges. Maybe you didn’t notice, but this is the United States of America. Perhaps you’ve heard of it? Nation of laws, not of individuals? First Amendment? Freedom of the press? Any of that ringing a bell?

I’ll give you an example. I called, as you know, Mexico. It was a very, very confidential, classified call. But I called Mexico. And in calling Mexico, I figured, oh, well that’s — I spoke to the president of Mexico; I had a good call. All of a sudden, it’s out there for the world to see. It’s supposed to be secret. It’s supposed to be either confidential or classified, in that case

I wish he'd STFU as well, because it is pretty embarrassing to have my POTUS talking about approval ratings and crowd sizes, but in the meantime, the other side effects are definitely working for me. Trump may be a clown, but he'll sign on the dotted line for pro-conservative outcomes, and that's what counts.
This is a despicable post. You truly don't GAF about this country or world stability.
02-16-2017 , 04:44 PM
Inso0, when you say "conservative causes are pushed across the country" do you mean
A) conservatives have more power at the state level and are enacting laws as they see fit
B)conservatives are enacting laws that poll well among a majority of americans

Hint: it's not b!

Zikzak, you're just finding out that inso0 is a deplorable person online and offline and ****s over everybody who is semi reasonable? He posted a personal anecdote about not hiring a millennial last year that floored the entire forum
