In before Trump just starts reading from Dr. Seuss books at press conferences.

"Whether one state or two state. Whether red state or blue state. Speaking of red states, did you see the electoral map? Big victory. Huge."

Those were his inaugurations.

This whole situation has a very, "you come at the King, you best not miss" feel to it. If the IC thinks they have the goods to get to Trump, they better hope it works b/c a failed attempt is probably going to lead to an ugly purge of the agencies (not to mention the squeeze that will be put on journalists to give up sources).

Oh, and if the worst case scenarios are true, how does Russia react if/ when Trump gets got? Do they just tap the table, shake hands and quietly go back to trying to get Le Pen elected???

I worry Putin is frantically planning a terrorist attack on US soil right now. It's about the only thing that can save Trump.

Yeah, this actually concerns me. Even if Trump/Bannon were willing to do a false flag op, they're too inept to pull it off. Putin on the other hand...

eta: That would be an act of war tho. Seems an unlikely play.

Is that stephen miller twitter confirmed? No check mark.

Save Trump from what? Until the GOP has some cause to actually take meaningful action there doesn't seem to be much Trump has to sweat. And he's virtually assured a GOP majority in both Houses for the entirety of his term (at least).

No but if you check the dates and tweets - it would be an incredibly elaborate, very realistic year-long hoax.

No, it is fitting to see a man who commits genocide standing next to a man who wants to do the same thing.

Well here's the rub. Russia wants chaos, or Trump, or Trump-induced chaos. No matter how this ends, they will have some or all of those things. Russia is laughing all the way to the bank.

Jesus. Keeping up with this thread is a part time job. Not complaining, though.

This is an interesting observation. People are so wrapped up in an adversarial/team mentality towards governance that they're actually "easily" swayed so long as it comes from their preferred news source. You could set a watch by how quickly a Breitbart and Fox News talking-point gets adopted by right-wing voters.

To be fair, it happens across the board, but I think part of the great success of the RNC is the unifying support they get. "The Right" quickly funnels the wagons down the chosen avenue while "The Left" mixes apathy and self-immolation into a traffic jam.

- increased DDOS / other cyber attacks. I hear that they're good at the cyber.

- keep trying to use leaks to strategically sway elections / punish politicians that they don't like. You think Hillary is the only politician who could have their popularity impacted by selective leaks and / or fake news?

lol Trump somehow blaming the media for him firing Flynn

AND ILLEGAL LEAKS THO

I HATE LEAKS, SHOULD BE JAILED FOR LEAKS

UNLESS THEYRE ABOUT HILLARY

If Trump "gets got" they'll have to tap the table as far as their connection to Trump is concerned, or whatever it is they do when useful idiots become useless ones.
02-15-2017 , 06:46 PM
Now according to trump the media was mean to Flynn a guy he lost confidence with as of yesterday.

Trump really has no floor of stupidity or incompetency. When you think he has hit bottom he drills deep to find a new level of excrement.

They benefit, but they may not be laughing as hard as they might. Probably Putin, just like Trump and his boys, assumed they were golden after the inauguration. Trumps ineptitude, along with the persistance of the media and the resistance of the IC, not to mention the general public, has got to worry them.
