No. You do the math and provide the proof. Remember that pesky little thing called innocent until proven guilty?

Yeah it's just the voting in the election that he's saying was fraudulent, not the result. Those two things have nothing to do with one another! #AlternativeFacts

Guys I figured it out: trump has been told by his russian handler that they voted illegally for him millions of times. So he's attacking with his weakness again

Just when i thought I was plenty pissed about the N. Korea style tweet deletions, the Muslim ban begins.

It's really gross how those silly illegals voted for so many Republicans down ballot to throw us off their scent. So clever.

So what kind of regulations regarding voting is Trump going to implement?

The feds have little direct regulation of voting. The fear is his justice department won't pursue cases when states violate the voting rights act.

The states have shown tremendous creativity in suppressing votes and that will probably only increase.

How long until impeachment precedings begin again?

The best way to avoid fascism was to have no one run against the hand picked party candidate and for there to be no criticism. Having failed that, purge everyone who criticized the candidate.

Ok, EVERYONE with a brain should have voted for Hillary after the convention. But IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT YOU NOMINATED A BAD CANDIDATE!

No one goes back to Dukakis or Mondale and says it's their opponents' fault. No one should have run against them or criticized them.

Gary Hart accused Walter Mondale of using 'tainted money' in his campaign. BOOM Ronald Reagan is POTUS.

OK I was asking you? It's your story, not mine. I don't think there were 3-5 million fraudulent votes.

So, try again. How many, Broadway?

The Dem primary campaign was quite civil with both candidates mostly playing nice with each other.

If you want to get real, the HC campaign was doomed because it's almost impossible for a female to attack a male without looking like a bitch to society. A lot of the stuff that Biden or Sanders could have called BS on Donny, Hillary couldn't do it w/o appearing vindictive or bitchy in the eyes of the general public. Any intelligent person would be able to see she was attacking Donny on the issues, lying and being a scumbag in general. But to Joe the Plumber? That bitch! She needs to be put in place!

HC's greatest feat is cracking the glass ceiling. She didn't shatter it though.

Remember, this was a 25 year smear campaign by the right to dismiss HC as a competent leader. There's a reason they did it. If she had no intention of running for POTUS, they would have left her alone a long time ago.
01-24-2017 , 10:07 PM
Yeah that's what makes both sides insane bitterness over it so bizarre. That was the cleanest primary, on either side, in years. For a relatively closest contested one, neither side ever played dirty in any meaningful way, the fights Sanders and Clinton had were mostly about policy.

Now online it was different it was absolutely insane, but none of that was coming from the campaigns or their surrogates, it was pundits and cranks doing the "BernieBro Harassment" fantasy and the wholesale adoption of #tcot conspiracy theories by certain aspects of the "left"*

*As we hit the general, a lot of the kookier hardline anti-Clinton Bernie supporters switched to Trump, which indicates they were never really in it for Bernie in the first place, they very well might have switched to Trump anyway.

Newsflash: It's the Trump slappies and King Trump himself still bitching about the election.

Does anybody else think the Trump Administration will eventually collapse under the weight of his own ego? How long before he loses Republican support?

That is clearly false from reading recent posts in this thread. People are arguing over why Hillary Clinton lost to both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump as if it ****ing matters at this point. Clogging up the thread with posts that don't matter in the slightest no matter who is "right" about it all.

It's weird that the 25,000 Syrian refugees in Canada have seamlessly integrated themselves into our culture and have no record of criminal activity. It's super weird.

Everything trump is doing is right out of the putin playbook

I see a discussion. I don't see people whining.

Just spitballing, but here's what I'd do:

- Continue beefing up Real ID requirements by requiring more paperwork that poor people and young people with less stable housing situations are less likely to have. I.e., "hey there, 80 year old black woman who was born at home in rural Alabama, mind showing us an original birth certificate and social security card, and the marriage license from that wedding you had 50 years ago so we know why you changed your name? Thx." "Oh, hai, 19 year old community college student who still lives at home, mind showing us three utility bills in your name in order to prove that you really do live at that address?" Cool. Etc

- I forget the name of the database at the moment (cross check?), but there's some database that some (mostly red) states have been using to check voter rolls and purge voters who appear to be registered in multiple states. For various reasons, the system seems to lead to higher purge rates amongst poc. So, you obviously want to pass a "voting modernization and protection" bill that throws some monies at states that implement this system.

- Halt deployments of federal election monitors to districts that you think engage in voter suppression. Or, deploy monitors, but do so in ways that could in and of itself lead to voter suppression ("we feared for the safety of our monitors in Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee, etc., so we asked the police / national guard to accompany them)

Don't be too hard on Hillary. Not sure what lofty heights most posters on here, male and female, have achieved, but I would say being elected United States Senator from New York, Secretary of State of the world's last remaining super power, and winning the Democratic Nomination for President of the United States is pretty much demolishing the glass ceiling. I'm not even sure any men have completed that trifecta.
