Also, why are we upset about improving relations with Russia? Ever since the election, "Russia" has been the go-to buzzword for controversy, a la McCarthyism and "communist."

He talked about lowering sanctions then lied about it when either is very arguably a snap fire offense. It wasn't a coincidence Putin did nothing when we kicked out a bunch of Russia diplomats.

Russia is run by an dictator who kills/jails political opponents who would love it if freedom died in america. They at least influenced our election results and yet, somehow, a bunch of people think we should be friends.

I'm excited that you guys are excited. It's a little unclear as to why this is such a big deal, but maybe you can help me out.

Or are we still operating under the theory that Trump is a Manchurian Candidate and you think this is the first crack in the foundation that leads to the ultimate collapse and retroactive installment of HRC as POTUS?

Because I gotta be honest with you, this seems like the sort of thing that is gonna be old news in a week when Trump drops an F-bomb during some presser.

So what happens next?

Shocking that someone who gets his news from FOX has no idea what the hubbub is about
02-14-2017 , 03:18 PM

wonder if this would actually be a violation

Sure, but they are the reason we are in this mess.

AFAIK you can't destroy anything written down, that would include texts or messages sent on a messaging app

Link to bribery accusations? I know about the letter that came from Yates, but nobody has provided an ounce of detail.

That would be an actual violation of the Logan Act, though. I keep hearing that this was checked into and found to be false.

Is that not correct?

ohh ohh I wanna play I wanna play

Mike Pence et al denied (in January) that Flynn had discussed sanctions with the Russian ambassador during their phone calls, instead saying that their phone calls were about "logistics."

Yesterday, Trump asked for Flynn's resignation, citing "trust" issues.

Why was Flynn asked to resign?

you keep hearing this because you purposely avoid the media outlets that care about the truth

yea, Spicy Sean had an elite tie today. Conway should tell everyone to buy it (unless its from Ivanka's line). He's come a long way since that suit the first day.

Come on. It's his job to spin the BS.

That's his job description. Just like every other White House press secretary before him.

Kelly-Ann Conway made the statement a few days ago that Trump's inner-circle, or senior advisers consist of about five or six people. I always felt Priebus was a sketchy choice due to his ties and relationship to the GOPe. I thought Mike Pence's job, like Biden's, was to manage Capital Hill. Knowing the entire government bureaucracy is against Trump, including the MSM, Dem Party, GOPe, I still have faith and trust in DJT. All this news fluff coming everyday is just noise. Nothing serious here.

Multiple intel sources said that yes, Flynn did in fact discuss sanctions with Kislyak.

If this is indeed a violation of the Logan Act why does Spiceworld continue to pitch that no laws were broken?

JAQ ofc

Congress now trying to pass the issue off to the OGE, even though OGE has no real ability to investigate or enforce ethics policy

Edit: This is in regards to the Conway-Ivanka Trump boondoggle, not the Flynn-Russia-Treason boondoggle.

So you admit you voted for a candidate who is far from ready for the job of POTUS?

Trump is like someone who thinks he can challenge the World Go Champion because he just has won a few games of connect four.

As people have mentioned this morning, he seems to have a soul unlike Conway and perhaps others "before him".
