Poor Spicer. Impossible spot.

Putting a story out there is pretty dangerous, once you do that reporters can and will crush it.

Spicer taking a giant dookie all over kellyanne's talking points from yesterday
02-14-2017 , 02:22 PM
Jeff Sessions wasn't on the job yet, ipso facto this never would have happened

I hope someone asks him if there's any truth to the rumors that Trump is seeking to replace his press secretary.

I've been taking every opportunity to pronounce Gorsuch as "Gyorshuchtch" when I can.

the spin is now that Trump couldn't trust Flynn so he asked for his resignation. Last night reports were that Trump didn't want him to resign. Trump asking for his resignation also goes counter to what Conway was saying yesterday.

Other then the national security of our country and the integrity of our democracy Republicans in congress have no incentive to go after Trump. So most of them will do nothing for as long as they can get away with it. But it wont be long. The IC has more cards to play and they are not folding....this wont be contained.

The media will carry this into the next election seasoning and Republicans will be toast. They are better off facing the music and getting it over with quick but they wont because most of them live in some alternate facts universe and think they can actually get away this.

Phone call with Mrs. Antonin Scalia was productive

Spice Boy claims the White House legal team found no illegality with Flynn. Meanwhile the guy who wrote that scathing Observer article yesterday that blew a lot of this up, last night on msnbc said he also heard from those same sources in the IC that Flynn's family had been receiving cash payments from Russia, and more will be revealed in time

Lunch with Mr. & Mrs. Chris Christie om nom nom

Long soliloquy by Spicer in the hope that maybe some of the reporters will fall asleep or forget about Flynn. They won't.

I think the only relief in all of this first month is that this Administration's duplicity and evil is only outshined by their sheer incompetence. They're the bumbling idiot villains from an 80s spoof movie.

So that was an acknowledgement that Yates was fired because she brought up Flynn's **** to Trump, right? I mean there's not real other way to read that.
02-14-2017 , 02:36 PM
So part of Flynn's job was to talk to the Russian ambassador? Then why did he lie about it and why was he asked to resign?
02-14-2017 , 02:36 PM
No way Spicer can do this for much longer without losing his sanity.

Kellyann probably takes over as press secretary soonish because soul-draining work is easy when you have no soul.

Pretty sure either Priebus or Spicer are next on the block. I'd lean more towards Priebus since he's an actual politician whereas the vast majority of the others who have been hired or confirmed don't have any political experience.
