"Trump found out Michael Flynn lied about his involvement with Russia and immediately asks for his resignation like a true leader should. This will be spun into Trump being awful somehow. Flynn was the most loyal to Trump out of anyone and he still fired him. That's how leaders lead people. I feel even more confident in him as a President now than I even did before."

Obama was trying to start a war with Russia, which has done nothing to the USA. What was so terrible about Flynn telling the Russians that President Trump was open to peace and reconciliation? Flynn should be given the Nobel Peace Prize.

No he wasn't you jackass. You have no understanding of geopolitical realities and what is really occurring. Obama was happy to keep sanctioning Russian officials and let Russia bleed out until Putin was overthrown. This is why they interfered in our election. They paid Trump and company to release their sanctions and offered various business transactions for when that happened (hence Tillerson pick). You don't understand what Russia is doing. They are invading soveriegn nations and interfering in various elections around the EU. Putin is trying to rebuild its Soviet empire and that cannot happen. Why do you think Trump was advocating disbanding NATO? Who does that help? Disbanding the UN? Who does that help? Lifting sanctions on Russia? Who does that help? All of these things are detrimental to the US and its allies. All of these things weaken the US in the world order.

I'm too unmotivated to go look but what was the reaction on chiefsplanet to Trump getting cucked by China. I had anticipated some spin from the wingnuts, but I didn't encounter any. It seems like it was basically just ignored.

I have two lines of thinking and they're both equally terrifying. It's either well thought out corruption of just pure and utter incompetence. If it's the first option, then Flynn was a pawn sacrifice all along and this was the plan from day one. He served his part, got paid, and has an executive guarantee of a pardon if he's prosecuted.
