there are like literally millions of pictures of dudes carrying footballs in white house press pool photos. If you saw the president's entourage it's not like it would be hard to figure out who had the thing. And killing that guy doesn't magically make the football inoperative.

The F.B.I. has been examining Mr. Flynn’s phone calls as he has come under growing questions about his interactions with Russian officials and his management of the National Security Council. In addition, the Army has been investigating whether Mr. Flynn received money from the Russian government during a trip he took to Moscow in 2015, according to two defense officials.

What does that have to do with anything? Trump being corrupted by Russia could mean Trump hires Flynn even though the US warned him not to because Flynn is cozy with Russia and that's exactly what they want. Trump being corrupted by Russia could mean that Trump and his Russian contacts speak directly about sanctions. Trump being corrupted by Russia could mean that they start the conversation by saying "hey, you need to fix this **** when you take over" instead of him being proactive about it.

You know what else we have a ****ing mountain of evidence of? That Trump doesn't give a **** about policy details, that he surrounds himself with people that push their own policy ideas by coopting his authority, and that his National Security Advisor was previously fired for doing his own thing under a President who had much less tolerance for that bull****. But in your mind it was Trump, who for a day went against his natural inclinations to do nothing but bask in his own glory and watch TV, who proactively directed Flynn to tell some diplomat what his position on the sanctions would be. Because that even sounds like a sensible way to get your message to the government who owns you.

Look, I'm sorry that the most likely explanation doesn't jive with your fantasy that we've finally got something to nail Trump on, but if you want to be a champion of critical thinking, maybe try thinking critically sometime. Cause this isn't that.

Can we nail Trump on hiring a Russian agent as his National Security Advisor?

Keith Kellogg named acting national security advisor.
02-14-2017 , 12:10 AM
I'd guess Spicer is the next one out, then Miller, then Bannon.
02-14-2017 , 12:10 AM
Nice. Hopefully the first among many leading to Drumpenfuher's resignation.

They are gonna try to say he went rogue. I guarantee it.
