It's a military aide that carries it. But I believe they change. It's not always the same person.

Best defence is the "accidental" headbutt from being pulled in too hard.

21:40 for the ads he's running (not sure if the ones after the nuclear triad ad are real or not)

The president's advisers have tried to curb his cable news consumption during the workday. But there are no limits when the president returns to the residence. During another recent telephone conversation, Trump briefly put down the phone so he could turn up the volume on a CNN report. When he returned to the call, he was complaining about "fake news."

so this whole handshake thing just comes down to Trump trying to show his hands arent that small, right? Doubt he cares about anything else more in life.

So I'm not going to sit here and try to excuse Trump buffoonery, but I do find it hilarious that the internet has been reduced to pretty much the following daily cycle:

"Holy **** did you see what Trump just did?"

"Can he do that?"

...

"HE CAN'T DO THAT! OMG!"

"Bring back GWB, please."

headasplode.jpg

Meanwhile, I'm not even sure if any actual policy is being handled in the background on a federal level, but states that rode the unexpected GOP landslide are pumping out right-wing legislation like there's no tomorrow.

Nobody finished the full run of antibiotics for Obama Derangement Syndrome, and it's back with a vengeance on the other side of the aisle in a much more potent form as Trump Derangement Syndrome.

This is all way too much to keep up with, but I am enjoying the meltdown. Trump crashing the wedding, commenting about the amount of money the bride/groom have paid him over the years, and the selfies with the nuclear football were all pretty next-level Drumpfisms.

I saw a post on Reddit talking about high level intelligence officials withholding secrets from the White House because they assume Trump has his phone on speaker in his pocket with a direct line to the Kremlin. The responders are using stories like this to make themselves feel better, but does anyone actually believe this?

Missing from this post is, of course, any reflection whatsoever on whether or not the liberals are right. That's well beyond the level of analysis Inso0 requires to determine his response; if liberals are mad, he's happy, done, no more thinking needed.

Well, the intelligence community seems to believe it, which should be enough to cause anyone alarm. Beyond that, https://www.rt.com/news/375902-fsb-k...ky-us-treason/ and http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017...-donald-trump/ should be evidence enough

It's pretty amazing that people like Inso can pretend they're not just as ****ed as everyone else just because their team won.

Watching Trump talk next to Trudeau is truly embarrassing.

Bringing up his yuge electoral win and how these are dangerous time and bad bad people out there. Scaring the common folk with boogeymen. It's not real. He's also unable to answer questions in a straight forward manner.

On the other hand Trudeau seems highly intelligent and if not, he sure speaks well and eloquently. He seems on the surface like a leader with a north pointing moral compass.

It's pretty sad.

The two questions for Trump go to Sinclair and Daily Caller.

Brave new world, folks.

It's odd to find a creationist who appreciates the importance of finishing a full course of antibiotics.

No, that's just it.

I am ready and willing to get upset about things that actually deserve outrage. So far, this has been a non-stop flood of stories about how politically incorrect Trump is, and how he just "isn't doing it right."

Where's the beef?

You guys need to focus on a few important things to get upset over. Not Ivanka's clothing line and whether or not an impromptu visit to the wedding across the hall was adequately screened by secret service, and if so, how much it cost the taxpayers. Even the not-a-muslim-ban muslim ban doesn't get any traction with rational thinkers. I'm still waiting to be shown the horrible actions that are going to make me "just as ****ed as everyone else" as Goofy puts it.

I'm not even saying those things don't exist, but if they do, it's getting lost in the inane "I AM SO ****ING TRIGGERED RIGHT NOW" posts that clog up the media right now.

Focus!

lol this article about Trump's advisor Stephen Miller.

Quote:
Stephen Miller and Jason Islas grew up in sunny southern California in the late 1990s, united by their passion for Star Trek. But Miller stopped talking to his friend as they prepared to jump from Lincoln Middle School to Santa Monica High School.

Miller only returned Islas' phone calls at the end of the summer, to coldly explain the reason for his estrangement. “I can't be your friend any more because you are Latino,” Islas remembers him saying.
Quote:
Natalie Flores, another student who witnessed Miller's evolution from middle to high school, said he displayed “an intense hatred toward people of color, especially toward Latinos.” She and other students interviewed for this report recalled that Miller became angry whenever he heard students speaking Spanish in the hallways.

“I think his big problem was the Latinos. He thought they lived off welfare,” said Flores, now enrolled at the Teachers College at Columbia University.
Quote:
Rosmarin also recalled a Miller speech during a campaign for student council elections in which he attacked the requirement that students put their trash in garbage bins, saying that janitors were paid to do that.
