The White House will dig in. They will call everything fake news for as long as they can, and eventually let Flynn go.

There is a chance now that flynn gets sacrificed (they'll stall as long as they can for that) but they're clearly all in on it from the campaign months before the election (their entire campaign was a lot of putin style talk) but it's also gonna be incredibly difficult to get rid of all of them. Tillerson as sec was risky as **** though, some people gonna try to prove that connection of dots instead of just having a simple scapegoat.

They clearly thought the same as me--by the time the public started figuring this out it'd be way too late to do anything about it more than one unimportant guy at best but america is fighting back. Still a long way to go though.

ehh id bet on the side that a lot of **** will go down, at least Flynn taking the fall and scapegoating for everything

Dementia for sure. He watches TV, dead giveaway.

At this point, if it was somehow proven that trump doesn't have some major mental disorder, it would be shocking.

I take comfort in the fact that Trump is, at his core, lazy as ****. So while he could absolutely consolidate power with a fake terrorist attack or Putin apartment bombing, he's just too ****ing lazy.

Your reading comprehension is at a predictable level.

Good news everyone, ISIS has been demoted on Twitter.

The number of white nationalists and self-identified Nazi sympathisers on Twitter have multiplied more than 600 per cent in the last four years, outperforming the so-called Islamic State (Isis) in everything from follower counts to number of daily tweets, a new study found.

I would bet everything I own on an NPD diagnosis by any competent psychiatrist, but I don't think there's anything wrong with him other than that. Yeah, he has probably seen TV stories on asset forfeiture, but he has the retention of a goldfish on that stuff, not because he has dementia, but because it doesn't interest him in the slightest. If it doesn't relate to himself or to being competitive (winning, losing, THE BEST etc) he generally doesn't care.

I don't because lazy Trump might agree to a crazy plan Bannon comes up with if he thinks it will give him more support to do whatever the hell he wants without opposition.

Should clarify that I think he's dangerously incompetent and that his NPD is severe to the level where when I say "he has NPD but there's nothing wrong with him other than that" it's a bit like "your house is on fire, but there's nothing wrong with it other than that".
02-11-2017 , 03:36 AM
Right, he's not your average narcissistic ****head. Malignant narcissism seems to be more accurate.

Congrats on your new Chinese phone Sushy! What, you couldn't buy from an American ally like South Korea? Why do you want Trump to fail?

Honestly I'm concerned that the constant criticism will eventually break through his narcissism, and he will completely meltdown.

More jobs going offshore. Bad!

He is absolutely a grandiose narcissist. I just don't think he is smart enough or ambitious enough to go full Hitler.

At the end of the day, he's just a petulant child. There is no there there.

Yeah, there has been discussion about this. Trump's narcissism v the constant criticism that is a given when you're President is a classic irresistible force v immovable object situation. I have no idea what's going to happen, but some sort of explosion at some point appears likely. Hopefully not a nuclear one.
02-11-2017 , 03:41 AM
Right, I'm imagine a temper tantrum that results in a world war.
02-11-2017 , 03:42 AM
Nah, he will just reject the criticism. See FAKE NEWS.
02-11-2017 , 03:46 AM
It doesn't sound like Flynn is too ready to be the scapegoat. I'm sure he will be doing some crazy and desperate **** behind the scenes until he gets **** canned.

Instead of full Hitler he'll go lazy Hitler. Why go blitzkrieg when you can just nuke 'em!

I'm no psychiatrist either and you're probably right about NPD, but maybe dementia plays a part. He's been famous for almost 40 years. You can look at old video and he's always been a shallow shameless promoter, but he used to speak coherently and understand how he looked to the person he was talking to and the audience. Now he has a total lack of self-awareness, difficulty keeping on track, and difficulty following anything complicated or that takes more than a short time.

I know a lot of people around here just think "duh, he's 70", but a lot of 70 year olds are plenty sharp.

I'm gonna go against the grain and suggest its NPD with a side of mad cow. If I were a reporter at the WH I'd ask Spicer when was the last time Trump was examined by a listened neurologist.

Andrew Sullivan, in his latest Atlantic piece, is on board the Donald ain't right in the head hypothesis.

Trump has a family history of Alzheimer's and could easily be showing symptoms of early onset Alzheimer's.

Here are symptoms:
1. Memory loss
2. Trouble planning and problem solving
3. Daily tasks are a challenge
4. Times and places are confusing
5. Changes in vision
6. Words and conversations are frustrating
7. You lose things
8. Lapse in judgment
9. Social withdrawal
10. Mood changes
