The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

For anyone who hasn’t seen it, the Dirty Money (Netflix) episode of Trump is really good. It’s crazy how much Trump has always been the same person.

Oh and LOL awval

Awval,

"Disapproves of" doesn't even come close.

How about just changing?

I assure you there is.

Filling your heart with hate toward 60 million people isn't good for you or the country.

Again, about Baker and Hogan...

https://www.washingtonpost.com/local...=.073f7a88fb45

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...s-trump-339182

I read these two articles. It appears that both these states have D supermajorities in their respective state Houses and Senates. So it appears, pragmatically, they are neutered and have to compromise with the Democratic majority in these states.

Would be interesting if there were D governors of red states to cross compare... but alas there won't be. It appears blue states are more likely to vote for cross-party gubernatorial candidates than red states.

What really surprises me is Vermont.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vermon...election,_2016

How does that even happen?

Changing what?
02-01-2018 , 11:53 PM
Trumpkins hate a lot more than 60 million people but since they’re mostly not white I guess they don’t count?
02-01-2018 , 11:55 PM
60 million people that are just like the ones from that Jimmy Kimmel daca clip. Truly despicable people with no empathy.
02-01-2018 , 11:56 PM
Not all 60 million of Trump voters are like that. I promise you of that.

What are Baker and Hogan doing to garner such high approval margins? I know they aren't Trumpers and neither of them even ended up endorsing the President.
Baker isn't doing a god damn thing. The state is doing well because we do all the obvious, common sense **** that dumb **** red states hate, and our governor hasn't been able to screw it up because he's boxed in on all sides by people who aren't idiot Republicans.

Some people (like you) trip over their own shoelaces praising whoever seems to be in charge because they (you) naturally gravitate to authoritarian figures who tell people what to do and how to think when they can't do it for themselves. We have our fair share here. Since the commonwealth as a whole is doing relatively well, they credit the guy at the top without bothering to think about it very much.

I damn sure have no qualms hating white nationalists who march with Tiki torches or idiots like the old guy on Kimmel's DACA vs. MAGA segment. They need to fade off into the ether.

These people are on your side. You do nothing about it, but in fact you do enable it.

Yes they are. Especially if they support trump at this point

Absolute deplorable human filth worthy of only scorn and ridicule.

This is true for Phil Scott in VT as well.

He won mainly from name recognition more than anything.

You’re right - some of them realized the error of their ways. The rest can **** off

Incumbency advantage.

Things are going well... why change it?

If you look back at Presidential races, the only times in recent history when an incumbent loses is when there is a recession.

1992. Bush Sr
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_..._United_States
1980. Carter
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_..._United_States
1976. Ford
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973%E2%80%9375_recession
1932. Hoover
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_..._United_States

You could say, Trump will win re-election, unless there is a recession.

I have no idea what you're blathering about. Baker wasn't the incumbent. Deval Patrick retired.

It's easy to stand behind a keyboard and say that.

It's another thing to call your co-workers "absolute deplorable human filth" or your accountant, or your child's principal, or your local police officer.

It's easy to talk this way over a message board. But quite another in real life.

Trump voters and supporters live in your town, attend your HOA meetings, wash your cars, sell you refrigerators, teach your children, and do your taxes.

Even if you live in Los Angeles county in California, 769,000+ people, voted for Donald J Trump. You see them everyday. You work with them. You eat in the same restaurants. Your children attend the same schools. They will always be with you.

Sorry, was talking about 2018 re-election. For both Baker in MA and Hogan in MD.

Connection between melodrama and Trumpkinism?

Yea, and I'd gladly punch any of you in the face, except most of you are too cowardly to stand up for what you "believe" in. This is obvious because your entire platform is based on a fear of the unknown, a fear of knowledge, and a fear of skin color.

Gimme a break with the "you wouldnt say this in real life" ****. I absolutely would. You wouldn't and you don't unless you're in your super duper special daddy-sanctioned safe space where you can chat with other deplorables about how annoying asian drivers are and how insufferable it is having to see mexicans at home depot. You can't even admit what you actually believe in on this message board.

Get ****ed, snowflake.

What is your point, we all know that ordinary people are capable of horrible things. That is why despite your complete and utter immortality I wouldn’t harm you. That is why they call it the banality of awval.

In the current political climate the only way a Republican wins a state wide election or reelection in MA is through spectacular Democrat incompetence.

Sadly, we are drawing quite live to that.
02-02-2018 , 12:23 AM
It's hilarious Awval is trying to act like he along with other Trumpkins and Deplorables have the moral high ground.

But you wouldn't.

You wouldn't go up to Granny at Safeway and punch her in the face after you overheard her saying, "Thank Jesus for President Trump" while she was checking out and talking to her husband while she was looking at the tabloid covers.

Because we live in the United States and we don't physically assault people based on their political beliefs. Even though I think it is LOL hysterical that Bernie Sanders got a single vote, I don't go up and punch social democrats in the face because they want a European style social democracy.
