Worth noting that I can complete that sentence for each of the last three Democratic Presidents and cannot complete it for Al Gore, John Kerry or Hillary Clinton.
Because the 57% of people that voted for Bernie in Wisconsin are a lot more likely to turn out for her than Hillary.

44% still approve of Trump, this is still enough to get him elected again.

Thoughts on Klobuchar? She seemed really appealing on David Axelrod's podcast, but that's my only real exposure to her.

Let's just say they are backwards in different ways.

Even Ben Garrison can't make Trump's disaster of a hairdo look decent.

It really doesn't matter who runs in 2020 for Democrats. As long as the economy doesn't crash and people keep their 401k plans healthy, the GOP will win again. It's been shown time and time again that the average voter doesn't give a flying **** about anyone other than themselves when it comes to voting. The GOP base needs to be HURT economically in the next 4 years for the Dems to have a shot.

McCane gets called out individually by Trump, and STILL won't unload on him?

Dude, you have a life expectancy of like 45 minutes, let it rip!

The most fitting end would be if he died in a way only Trump could. Like from falling down a sloped walkway or while having a heart attack having sex with some random groupie.

I disagree. Many of the Trump voters are hurting right now (either unemployed, or more commonly underemployed) and voted for Trump since he promised to make things better for them. If Trump doesn't improve things for them, I think they will not turn out in the same numbers, even if many don't switch to vote Dem.

Maybe someone thinks a premature death sets a better precedent and ensures he can't carry away the spoils. I remember a certain quote about trees and tyrants being quite popular in the US.

No, because Trump voters aren't these poor uneducated hillbillies that so many people assume they are.

As compared with most Americans, Trump’s voters are better off. The median household income of a Trump voter so far in the primaries is about $72,000, based on estimates derived from exit polls and Census Bureau data.

That’s lower than the $91,000 median for Kasich voters. But it’s well above the national median household income of about $56,000. It’s also higher than the median income for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters, which is around $61,000 for both.

These are the voters that semi-dabble in the stock market and have jobs that offer 401k plans. These are the voters on Facebook that are FED UP and ANGRY. They think people on welfare need to quit complaining and pull themselves up by the bootstraps. Apparently they didn't learn their lesson back in 2008 and need to get curb-stomped again. Only this time, they'll be 10-15 years older and have less leeway to recover any losses before they retire.

Plus he's good through 2022 and is like 100 years old. I don't understand it at all. Should I just jam the cynic button to better get my head around it?

Trump crushed (compared to prior Rs) in the counties that were least educated - these are the people that largely had/have mediocre paying blue-collar jobs and are mad because they see these jobs disappearing. Education was the strongest predictor of how someone would vote (much stronger than in prior elections, IIRC). They voted for Trump more than a normal R, because he promised to bring these jobs back, if he doesn't do that I think it will be hard for him to get as strong of support from them again.

RV, those were primary numbers which skew higher.
