I didn't say he would win a general election. I said given the choice between 2 more years of an unstable Orange or a possible 10 year run of a real conservative like Pence, the GOP Senator might very well oust Orange.

And the opposite holds true a bit, if we aren't at the half way and a day mark in Orange's term, Pence won't get even 8 years meaning they would be hurting Pence and might stick with Orange.

Half way and a day is the key to Orange conviction. If he hasn't blown up the world by then.

Yea, that's very true.

Yeah, I've been telling a lot of friends halfway through the term is when it becomes a real possibility, barring a smoking gun in the interim.

I'm still relatively pessimistic, with regard to this impacting Trump directly.

anything's better than nothing tbh.

Im kinda expecting this to be Manafort only (he's 99% to be part of it, imo, theyve been circling him like sharks for a while) and the gop/trump will try to say he was acting alone and had no impact on trump.

But just the fact that his former campaign manager is ****ed is a small win.

Not holding my breath for more but that would be awesome.

This. I wouldn't be surprised if there is both an (R) and a (D) indicted on Monday.

Well, Mueller's gotta balance his range.

There's no reason for the left to be giddy because Trump probably isn't getting impeached.

But I think it's similarly obvious based on what surely has to have happened (the Trump Admin/right wing media got leaked about coming indictments) that it's one of theirs going down here. The whole past week has been the Trump Admin distraction campaigns/telling on itself.

It's probably Manafort or Flynn.

It will be forgotten news by Wednesday after Trump announces he's planning to start coal rolling Air Force One, tells Draymond Green that he's too much of a thug on Twitter and says Andrew Bogut is better, and heroically releases the government's long hidden files on the murders of Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen.

anything that makes him lose significant power one way or another is a victory and will most likely avalanche (2018, etc.)

That can come in simply going down a lot in approval ratings or having a couple more gop guys talk **** and not vote for his crap out of spite (been pretty clear they wont vote against his crap he proposes just because they care about people!)

Manafort seems like a gimme at this point if he hasn't alread flipped. Best case scenario has gotta be Cohen.
10-28-2017 , 04:59 AM
I figured that anybody who might be implicated in this but doesn't hold office would have fled the country by now.

They probably assume Trump will pardon them and give them a medal for bravery in the face of enemy corrupt Clinton campaign fire and there's nothing to fear.
