Pretty difficult to separate “real” from “lies” for HRC. Not that it mattered since everything she was accused of Trump had been convicted of.

Yeah, but it matters to one kind of voter more than another kind.

I mean what's really notable about the trump clowning pence report is that a guy who had pence's convictions, won't even lunch with a woman who is not his wife, won't drink at parties etc. supports this guy:

"I'm with her!" was terrible.

Not campaigning in the Rust Belt was terrible.

The way she handled Bernie was terrible.

Tim Kaine as a VP was terrible.

Not going harder at Trump in the debates was terrible.

I am trying to think what she did that was really great and drawing a blank.

She had a plan.

She didn’t sexually assault women.

That’s more than enough

What I mean by that is, because they are used to being attacked no matter what they do, they sometimes seem insensitive to the appearance of impropriety, even if it is all smoke and no fire.
But if she's being attacked no matter what she does, to hell to acting sensitive about bs. That's a tilting accusation. The woman just wasn't obsequious enough, naturally.

I voted for Hillary, would have been happy for her to be our president. But she was a terrible candidate especially vs. Trump. You can believe and understand that and still vote for her. Just because you believe she was a terrible candidate does not mean she would have been a terrible president. I believe she would have been a perfectly adequate candidate (doubt great as she is way way way too moderate/sold out to corporate interests on lots for me).

-didn't campaign vs. nonstop campaigning
-we go high vs. non-stop insults
-one of the few people who have a husband accused of more sexual assault than DJT (Plus Weinergate)
-one of the few people who is more unlikeable than Trump on a surface level (ie. the idiot class liked Trump more than Hillary)
-never won anything except NY Senate where she way underperformed the previous D candidates

I could go on and on. But none of that is an excuse to vote for Trump. She was literally light years better in every category than him as an actual President. The OMG Hillary was horrible I could never vote for her so I voted for Trump class is the worst and as has been pointed out many times is probably an excuse for their misogony/racism.

The people who keep trotting this out as an excuse need to take a long hard look in the mirror. There is no objective level where Trump was (or is) the better President over Hillary. And yes you could see it coming a mile away that what we are living through now was the inevitable.

What a sick, disturbed **** this guy is:

Awvalol will surely admit voting for this monster was a mistake one day, but blatantly lying to use dead soldiers as a prop to slander the guy awvalol supposedly voted for twice doesn't quite reach that line. Gotta wait and see on those tax cuts.

Oh, and what is the obvious purpose of this blatant lie and many other things Trump does? To stoke hatred and division amongst us, something awvalol supposedly thinks is one of the major problems in this country when liberals do mean things like call racists out for being racist.

Banality of awvalol....

Saw some fat ****s in Edinburgh with pro-Trump shirts on in a restaurant.

Drew some looks but it may have been their enormous girth as opposed to their political affiliation that drew their attention. They probably slapped NRA bumper stickers on their rental car too.

I guess I'd wear one if I didn't want anybody to talk to me or approach me in any way.

I think people are drastically underestimating how hard it would have been for any woman to run against Trump. It's easy to say she should have been tougher on him but voters want women to be warm and nurturing. Somehow a woman in politics is supposed to be tough a nails and mom-like without ever crossing the "bit*h line". Not an easy tightrope to walk.

Women are handcuffed from the start in politics. It's not fair to blame them for the handcuffs.

She was the most capable and experienced presidential candidate of modern times and she lost to the dumbest person to ever hold public office. I would love to see data but would guess several of his points were gained simply because he was a man.

She failed to turn up for a live BBC interview in London this morning. (On Woman's Hour, BBC Radio 4.) Kind of embarrassing. What with that whole falling-down-in-the-street thing, it's all a bit Boris Yeltsin or Liz Taylor. Not even this general level of erratic uselessness quite negates her advantage of not being Trump. But they could and should have found a better candidate.

Inside the adult day care center: how aides manage Trump

Quote:
And now in the White House, when advisers hope to prevent Trump from making what they think is an unwise decision, they frequently try to delay his final verdict — hoping he may reconsider after having time to calm down.

...
Some Trump aides spend a significant part of their time devising ways to rein in and control the impetuous president, angling to avoid outbursts that might work against him, according to interviews with 18 aides, confidants and outside advisers, most of whom insisted on anonymity to speak candidly.
They win him over with unquestioning praise:

Quote:
Especially in the early days of his presidency, aides delivered the president daily packages of news stories filled with positive coverage and Trump began meetings by boasting about his performance, either as president or in winning the White House, according to one person who attended several Oval Office gatherings with him.

Some aides and outside advisers hoping to push their allies and friends for top postings, such as ambassadorships, made sure their candidates appeared speaking favorably about Trump in conservative news outlets — and that those news clippings ended up on the president’s desk.

Meanwhile, Trump proving again that he's about the worst humanity has to offer.
