Could you cite the case where DACA was challenged in the Federal Court system and the Obama administration prevailed? Thanks in advance.

Donald saw negative cable news coverage of Sessions press conference lol. President Deals!

that's not the appropriate burden here, adios

not every executive action has to be stamped by the courts in order to be "legitimate"

have any courts ruled against DACA?

Wait, you think that the correct resolution was a layman's reading of the first part of the Constitution? That's gonna be news to a whole bunch of lawyers over the last 5 years. If not, this is just pointless trolling.

I live in Central America. My wife is from Central America. I go around Central America lecturing about stuff like this.

You can believe me or not, I really don't care.

I do not believe you and nobody else does, not even your mail order wife.

"Lecturing about stuff like this" oh yeah for sure there's a huge demand in Belize for someone to lazily paraphrase Rush Limbaugh.

Yeah, large swaths of our country are controlled by people as stupid as adios, that think they are as smart as he thinks he is. I don't know how old adios is, but the fact that he hasn't learned how to think better despite his time on here constantly getting embarrassed by mediocre posters is something.

Stop making things up. You are confusing what the legal argument is. Nobody is saying about about "choosing to not execute laws". Do I really have to google this for you?

"As the Supreme Court explained in Arizona v. United States, “a principal feature of the removal system [used to remove immigrants from the country] is the broad discretion exercised by immigration officials.” When confronted with an immigration who is eligible for deportation, executive branch officials still must decide “as an initial matter, must decide whether it makes sense to pursue removal at all.”"

It's just not true that not deporting somebody is not executing laws. It's legally accepted in the canon to do just this.

Depends. Is there a net benefit of them staying (do they contribute or are they a burden on the taxpayer)?

There are already checks that apply to other legal residents. When people are legal, they are much more likely to stay within the law.

Somewhere in this thread I said that the key to addressing the US immigration problem is addressing the issues of corruption, tax evasion and insecurity (related to drug trafficking) in the countries which are the main source of illegal immigrants to the US, namely Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. I also said this could largely be accomplished through greater transparency in the financial system.

I don't think you hear stuff like this on the Rush Limbaugh show. And if you want to argue with me on the above points, please do.

They are a net benefit. So definitely racist. You should have thought that through beforehand.

Yes. Again, should have thought this through beforehand.

bundy5 has no idea about data and immigration but his racist heart tells him what to do.

Feels like debating Constitutionality is a trap, Trump and his supporters hate brown people and like seeing them suffer, full stop! We could've just not deported people or threatened to deport them and let them take the same path to citizenship as everyone else but that's not what Trump did. Hate of Obama and brown people can explain pretty much all of Republican/Trump actions, no need to dig deeper except I guess to convince the small population of simple "moderates" who aren't truly racist but also don't believe that anything outside of pure hate crimes is racism.

I'm not really sure what people expect from bundy5. A racist Australian opines on the intricacies (i.e. basic information) about American immigration and tax law. Good show.
