At least we have DOTA.

I never read anything about the news or think about it but Im getting totally addicted to the subject last few days.
this really is better than watching a movie right now.
I F5 this thread a lot and Im amazed by every new info.
I didnt think it would be that bad for trump to be elected but now I think you guys are probably screwed for a very long time to go.
americans weren't exactly popular before trump but now I can totally see bad things happening to american going abroad.
Imagine how rest of the world perceive all these trump news (especially for average people that like trump supporters dont go further than the tweets).
Even EU govs said trump should mind his own business.
This guy gonna alienate the whole world and destroy long time alliances and friendships.

Do trump people want to live in autarky or what?

Our Ukrainian friends....

Now that long-standing alliance appears to be over. On Jan. 28, President Trump spoke on the phone with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. The conversation, by all accounts, was marked by an air of friendship and conciliation. In the hours that followed, the fighting in eastern Ukraine suddenly spiked. The number of*explosions*tracked by monitors from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) skyrocketed from*420*on Jan. 26 to*10,330*on Jan. 31, the sharpest increase ever recorded by the observers.*Targeted attacks*on civilian infrastructure have left potentially hundreds of thousands of people in the region without water even as they face temperatures well below freezing.*

Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Russia and Ukraine. The US is already de facto aiding and abetting imperial "spheres of influence".

No, Obama didn't. He did some things that courts decided against and that was that. If Trump orders personnel to violate court order Pence will be president soon thereafter.

Went from "a bunch" to "remember that one time" pretty damn quick. And the one time has already been debunked. Sad!

Not even close. No offense but you seem a bit clueless on US law and politics. Maybe look to sources other than Chomsky.

I've been spending too much time reading up on trump stuff, and my baseline is pretty high. Colbert had a nice joke, "Being president is supposed to age the president, not the public."

My Lord.... tape an aspirin to it, son.

Actually, if you do feel that way and are being truthful, you likely should speak to a health professional and maybe spend a little less time with the apoplectic crowd here.

So Trump has been overturned.

If this holds up, I'd like people to take note and remember this image:

Because if there is ever a terrorist attack involving a muslim, we will literally have armageddon now.

tbh if you're american and haven't been anxious at all about the past two weeks you probably need to speak to a health professional

This agrees with a piece from Professor Jonathan Turley saying essentially the same thing, namely, much to Wookie's and most of your fellows chagrin, the Constitution doesn't give non citizens the right to decide when and if they enter this country.

Sorry.

Do you understand the protocol for launching a nuclear strike? What about Trump's temperament and behavior convinces you he wouldn't act irrationally and impulsively if provoked by North Korea, Iran, etc.?

An actual sane and intellectually consistent opinion from the left:

But I guess Peter Beinart is now a Neo Fascist.....

Indeed very sane and intelligent to call Trump an obnoxious bigot
02-04-2017 , 06:23 AM
You guys are playing right into his hands every step of the way.

Why involving a muslim? I assume you mean "if there is a terrorist attack involving someone who recently entered the USA and has 1 of the 7 nationalities on Trump's list?" Slip of the tongue?

All I can say is I don't have a single worry about Trump starting WWIII. Not a single one. Seriously, I sleep quite well at night.

I think you fellows are completely over the top. That is my opinion.

Trump has spent his entire life pursuing precisely two things: making lots of money and chasing very attractive women. I don't see global thermonuclear war as advancing either of those objectives in his mind.

Of course, when you demonize someone irrationally, your mind can jump to some pretty wild conclusions.

Look at the opposition to Obama. Rather than just disagreeing with him on policy positions they whipped up irrational hatred for the man in such a way a significant percent of the population actually believed he was a Muslim double agent who wanted to impose Sharia law here.

The human mind is a funny thing....

If you go via Dublin or Shannon you can clear US immigration there, which is a sight less unpleasant than doing it at a US port of entry. (They don't behave quite so badly.)

But boycotting the US might be an idea, while it's under the rule-by-decree of an orange Mugabe and his gang.

No, I meant Muslim. That would empower and vindicate Trump to the point where I don't even want to contemplate it.

The left are digging their own grave to the point where it is agonising to watch play out.

Imagine the ****storm if some Trump fan shot up a mosque and killed five people. That would surely lead to widespread condemnation by Trump and his supporters....and the death toll from toddlers with guns continues to rise.

Sorry.
I'll take the word of the judges handling the cases over general legal advice provided on CNN.
