The USA is quite good at defeating itself. Russia has little to do with it, sure it is easy to point at the bad bad Russians but it is just a distraction. The real problems rest deep within American society.

If you look at the graphs of net approval at 538, Trump's rate of erosion seems to be in line with that of other presidents. Trump's problem is he started at such a low point. Our problem is what he might do to avoid the numbers going lower. The tough talk on Korea may have helped him a little.
