Oh yeah, I was just responding to the post where NYC gets hit. At the point they can hit NYC, I imagine they will also be able to hit the entire US, too.
They'd be firing over the arctic to hit NYC. South Florida would still be out of range.
NK only has fission bombs and not fusion bombs right?
Yes.
Edit: They did claim to have done a successful test of a fusion device earlier this year.
Quote:
On January 6, after reports of a magnitude 5.1 earthquake originating in northeast North Korea at 10:00:01 UTC+08:30, the country's regime released statements that it had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. Whether this was in fact a hydrogen bomb has yet to be proven.[74] Experts have cast doubt on this claim.[75] A South Korean spy expert suggested that it may have been an atomic bomb and not a hydrogen bomb.[76] Experts in several countries, including South Korea have expressed doubts about the claimed technology because of the relatively small size of the explosion. Senior Defense Analyst Bruce W. Bennett of research organization RAND told the BBC that "... Kim Jong-un is either lying, saying they did a hydrogen test when they didn't, they just used a little bit more efficient fission weapon – or the hydrogen part of the test really didn't work very well or the fission part didn't work very well."[77]

So China said they'd stay neutral if NK hits first but if we strike first then they will defend NK
So we will literally start WW3 by striking first.
And if they shoot to the waters of Guam to show their capabilities, and then we strike, China may take that as us striking first since NK was just showing off capabilities and didn't actually try to hit our soil
Nobody on TV can figure out Trump's attacks on McConnell for days. I think it's obviously at least one of:
1) If NK conflict is a generic distraction from Russia, McConnell is a specific distraction targeted at keeping his base off the trail of what must be crushing evidence obtained at the Manafort raid.
2) A trial balloon for the base's reaction to parting with Congress.
Things are really heating up fast with Mueller, and the MSM will soon have to merge head on with implications against Trump. They can't keep playing dumb much longer.

trump sees mcconnell as the obstacle between himself now and the version of himself that is able to solve all of america's problems while keeping his campaign promises to his beloved base
Like every day this week Trump says something dumb about North Korea and the press loses its mind like "are we headed toward NUCLEAR WAR??", it's so stupid
For those of you who were asking about the strength of modern nuclear weapons, this video will explain that well. The WWII bombs are incomparable to what is out there today. Nuclear war would be a global disaster.
Also, when the repubs used the nuclear option to get Gorsuch on to the Supreme Court that was a good thing in Trump's eyes. It's entirely possible that he thinks threatening to use the nuclear option against NK will lead to another victory for him, not to a global disaster. He may not actually understand what nuclear weapons are.
Los Angeles often seems like a post-apocalyptic wasteland on a good day, so it's not clear I'd notice if they nuke us. Can't be sure it hasn't already happened, really.
On the plus side, things will open up a bit on the 405.
Curious if any new poll numbers are out. I'm guessing Trump's favorables are up by quite a bit since the fire and fury comment. Would love to be proven wrong and learn that collective America has a higher intellect than I give it credit for.
