Do they normally have a partisan skew?

I think they're credible. I haven't seen anything suggesting otherwise. I've heard they're conservative, but whatever, all media has their biases. What's important is factual information, and the hill has always seemed credible to me in these regards.

Seems worth it to trade a US Attorney post for 2 lifetime judicial appointments, no?

disagree strongly. nothing trump could ever (omit to) say or do would ever change the fact that republicans simply don't have a viable plan after 7+ years of screaming about destroying obamacare.

like sure, trump could try to be a better salesman or something, but how do you rally people around the idea of 20-30 million people losing or being denied health insurance? it's an impossibly stupid plan, and impossible to sell it. the best they could come up with was some herp derp **** about free markets and personal choice, none of which really made sense.

donald trump is 100% right when he puts mcconnell and GOP congress critters on blast here for this, which is pretty amazing when you think about it. personal desires for "winning" aside, dude is actually RIGHT for once.

yea they're credible on facts in my experience (+1 to M2B saying they mainly just regurgitate stuff) but their op-eds are usually garbage

Yeah, I can't ever recall reading an article of theirs that I thought was completely wrong or even horribly misleading. I just constantly am left with more questions than answers after reading their articles.

Add me to the other comments on TheHill.

Some articles are right, some left, and most often center. As stated, they just regurge stories from other sources and are rarely ever wrong. Probably because the sources used are pretty high end, like WaPo. The only thing I didn't see mentioned was that the headlines are standard and usually not sensational in any way.

Watching the news, and Trump is supposed to be having a high level briefing on NK with Pence and the 3 top Generals. They said Trump and/or Pence may speak afterwards.

Definitely read that headline in my brain as "Kirstie Alley".

They were one or two shy of 50 on BCRA. The rats jumped ship when it was clear it would fail, but on record, there were only three firm nos (Murkowski, Collins, Paul) before the surge of cowardly nos. Skinny repeal failed by one. Donald Trump has enormous power to not only rally the base, but to also change and improve the bill as he sees fit, i.e. what Obama did. If he thought it was "mean," he could have ****ing done something about it FFS.

The fact that he didn't seriously participate in the process doesn't exonerate him for the failure. Participating was his ****ing job.

My God, Trump is unhinged at this presser. He's pissed as hell. Why is he grandstanding with so many lives around NK??? This ****er ****.

There's the link to my other data point. It's op-ed I guess, but it's fantastically bad that they put this guy up on their site. Since posting about how he's a holocaust denier and anti-Mason (like free masons, like he's insane) I've found out that he's a cult leader and has a very weird following of women in Turkey who turn themselves into some form of barbie doll.

This is full of weirdness and entertaining, but jump to 11:08 for the weird barbie's dancing in their seats.

Unless you're following Rojava you're probably not interested in the article content - so I'm just attacking the author and the The Hill here. The content is awful though as well.

It took like 1 minute on google to find out the author was no one that you'd want to put up on your website, so I figure they are at least generally pretty negligent.
