The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

I dont know. The language itself sounds a lot like the words Steve Bannon would use. It seems to be a to eloquent phrase to be from Trump´s own mind.

"The piece of paper, as it turned out, was a fact sheet on the opioid crisis"

Did anyone see what happened with that big opiod crisis meeting? I saw surrogates beefing up Trump for "leading the fight" and "taking the reigns" against the crisis. If Trumpists weren't so brainwashed, they might actually notice how often Trump claims victory for talking, promising things, and just being in the room, without ever DOING anything at all.

In this particular case, it's incredible. The one thing that came out of the meeting was how the consensus was that the opiod epidemic needs to be declared a national emergency. Trump declined, then stupidass Tom Price followed. Trump instead had a better suggestion, because only he alone can fix everything. In addition to the stepping up of law enforcement at the border that's already (not) being done, Trump's brilliant solution was "To stop addiction, we need to be telling kids that drugs are not good. Very very bad for you."

Jesus he's so good at everything.

The next day, Trump doesn't mention a word of it, but went on to announce the transgender military ban and continued making a huge spectacle of himself with police brutality, abusing Sessions, etc. etc.

WTF did Manafort say that was so alarming that Judiciary Committee Dems ran right to Mueller with complaints? And this puts Grassley in a pretty hot seat like Nunes, no?

I think it's likely tied to the subpoenaed documents that went out yesterday. Muellers team/senate intel likely knew certain documents existed and Manfort failed to produce them, giving them probable cause to the judge that he is hiding/destroying them.

I mean you'll never convince me he's not reading something there when he's looking to his front right and talking.

Fire and Fury is also too eloquent. Trump can't put 3 words together well in a freestyle about anything of significance, especially words that utilize alliteration, GMAFB that **** was rehearsed LDO

For building it up, yeah. But look how many rules & regs have been broken or changed to help tear the country down in only 7 months. Especially rules that limit the President's powers or ones that hold the White House accountable for anything, including criminal activity.

But why would any of that bother you? As long as the brown people are losing while you aren't (yet) it's all just fine, right?

The phrasing was vaguely biblical. Reminiscent of Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction, I thought.

Wow. Senator Johnson said John McCain only voted no on the healthcare tragedy because of the cancer in his brain.

Isaiah 66:15

"For behold, the LORD will come in fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire."

But treason is only during wartime.
Nevermind, let's try this:

It didn't happen.
Ok it happened, but it's not a big deal.

But do you say something like that to the public? Even Trump knows better than to tweet "The only reason Senator X got a hooker is because of how fat and ugly his wife is." though he's tried.

I can see Trump tweeting that

It does look like he is reading. Seems like there were several photographers in the room. They should know? Hell there might be video or photo of the cards if they exist.

I'm still not convinced it's more complicated than John McCain said he would vote against it if the changes urged by his Governor were not made, so he voted against it.

It appears that McCain was able to shut down the braincancer long enough to vote yes on continuing debate, so that's something at least.
