this quote is just infuriating-

Quote:
We hate to have to keep harkening back to the impeachment of Bill Clinton, but the parallels are too overwhelming to ignore. And in that case, Democrats essentially came to accept that everything they once denied as a right-wing conspiracy was true but that they just didn’t care that it was so.
ya, no difference at all between getting blowjobs from your secretary and colluding with a hostile foreign power to subvert democracy. these people are just the ****ing worst of all time

we all remember bill clinton, as president, traveling around the country giving outdoor speeches to crowds of thousands of people where he denounced the idea that he ever cheated on his wife or lied about it, calling it a witch hunt hoax for over a year.

Trump has 100% grifted that much already.
Ivanka got 200 mill out of whatever deals they did in Saudi Arabia. Jared was selling US Visas to Chinese oligarchs for 500k to 1.5 mill a pop. Mar-a-Lago memberships doubled to 200k each on Inauguration Day and then he forced leaders and entourages to meet there. Trump's been running an Emolu-fest out of his DC hotel. We know about the 36 Chinese trademarks from Xi. He profits from his rallies, collected millions of unaccounted for cash (from locations such as empty lots LOL) at his Inauguration...and we can top it off with two known facts about Trump: 1) His history shows notoriety for getting some kind of commission for himself whenever he brokers a deal. Even as POTUS he has been exposed on several occasions for personally getting something, but he doesn't seem to care. Maybe because conflicts of interest aren't illegal for the President, and he had Sessions write up some bogus legal argument for why Emoluments don't apply to him. 2) Trump has had so many meetings since January 20th; most notably industry CEOs who were asked to give their "input" for his policies, or leaders around the world to whom Trump probably gave his "input" for their policies.

After the first 6 months, I would be willing to guess he pocketed a minimum of $100 million for himself.

"standard" corruption is best case scenario for a Trump administration. Not my money, but i'd happily pay him much more than that to resign.

The only reason Fox got that answer is because of AGAIN how they're downplaying. "Would you care if he was a crook?"

See? "Crook"...not that bad. Not even as crookED as Hillary. But if they said working hand in hand with Putin as some of the largest Criminal conspirators in the world, behind much pain, suffering and death. Or he's been grabbing with both hands, making himself and his buddies an oligarch's fortune from tax money and supporter campaign donations while doing nothing at all for the people or the country.

Crook works too I guess.

i was thinking more along the lines of whitewater and vince foster, but i get your point there. not to excuse anything bill said or did, i still think it's a pretty big leap to equivocate lying about cheating on your wife and lying about colluding with a hostile foreign power, but maybe that's me. i mean, it's not against the law to cheat on your wife, and that sort of thing is a personal issue at the end of the day.

White House dangles a $100 bln tech loyalty test
Meg Whitman, chief executive of the biggest government IT provider, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, wasn’t invited to the White House talks in June. She was critical of Trump during the presidential campaign and backed his rival. Her company generated about $7.2 billion in revenue from federal contracts, according to 2016 estimates by the FedScoop news site and consultancy International Data Corp.

Judge Jeanine and others on Fox are making a roundabout threat at Mueller, similar to Trump's red line for finances, only worse.

"If we see indictments come down on say a family member or someone just to get at Trump, you're going to see an uprising of his supporters."
08-04-2017 , 08:20 PM
for trump supporters they'd be choosing suicide by cop over suicide by fentanyl overdose. so sad
08-04-2017 , 08:25 PM
i love that dopey hillfolk nra supporters think they can overthrow the government with a 50 cal sniper rifle and a closet of ar-15s. if they want to turn apalacia into yemen see if i give a ****, anti-aircraft missiles to take down predator drones aren't guaranteed under that second amendment so i don't imagine they've thought this though hard enough

Slaughter a bunch of white people, even if they start it, and watch massive changes get swept in. We don't want a Waco * 100 idiot uprising. Just keep giving them SSDI and oxys and hope for the best.

how likely is it that some of them are still being paid by their (former) employers? or are they required by law/ethical reasons to completely sever ties for the time being?
No, other firms compensating them would create all kinds of conflicts of interest. They may have left with promises that they can have their old jobs back when they are done, but thats going to be about the extent of it. It is almost a lock they are doing this for the glory of being involved in perhaps the most important prosecution in the history of this country.

that's what i thought, but i had to show the lady some respect and ask since i'm not a lawyer. thanks for the response (simplicitus and money2burn also)

Reached Friday by HuffPost about the accusations against Bolling, a Fox spokesperson said, “We were just informed of this and plan to investigate the matter.”

When asked whether Bolling at any point had sent unsolicited lewd or inappropriate text messages or emails (including an image of a man’s genitalia) to Fox News or Fox Business colleagues, his attorney Michael J. Bowe responded, “Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made.”

Seriously what the f*ck was going on at Fox News? I feel like an expose on the years at Fox would have the same feel as one about a rock band on tour.

Rotten culture.

It was a company whose owners and big-name employees hadn't moved beyond the Madmen era and were wildly successful. Seems about like what you'd expect.

The provocative right-wing blogger and activist Mike Cernovich has launched a sustained attack on McMaster, including setting up a website called McMasterLeaks.com. When it launched, the main page displayed a large cartoon of the Rothschilds controlling a George Soros puppet, which in turn controlled puppets representing McMaster and former CIA director David Petraeus. (The hand labeled “Rothschilds” has since been relabeled “Saudis.” Cernovich told me he changed it because complaints about the cartoon’s anti-Semitism are “not a hill to die on,” and “if everybody wants to complain, then fine—I’ll just put the Saudis at the top.”)
