They didn't hack the election.

It really appears that we're peeking at Trump's paranoia again. He doesn't want prying eyes near his family's office, and Secret Service may have Clinton donors among the ranks.
Well plus the SS are sworn law enforcement officers. If they witness a crime I believe they're duty bound to report it, and they sure as **** aren't signing any NDAs or loyalty pledges.

Trump leaves for a 17-day vacation today. Confirmed Sim gone haywire.

Meh, this presupposes that the sh*t show that is the Trump presidency stays at this level all the way, or improves to some extent. Both are highly unlikely.

I think in a few years we'll all be looking at the early part of 2017 as the actual high point of Trump's tenure.

Please list a single policy or legislation Trump has enacted that has benefited the economy. 'Cause the last time I checked he's done precisely zero.

Whoever runs against Trump in 2020 needs to save this for the right zinger debate moment.

I love the Trumpkins that spike the football over unemployment numbers and the stock market. O did it for 8 years, we call those long term gains. Y'all excited about a few months short term when anyone with a brain knows the long term outcome is extremely murky and dangerous for this administration.

I know facts tend to mean nothing to you clowns but we both know this administration hasn't passed any meaningful legislation yet to have any sort of impact. All the gains you are spiking the football over still go to Obama. Scoreboard simpletons.

Do we know that the leaks of Trump's phone conversation transcripts came from US sources and not Mexico or Australia?

He's pulled the US out of the "job killing" Paris Accords.

He has no problem killing the planet though.

At least one of them had a signature of a general on the NSC, so they're US leaks.

And this is one of the smarter conservatives on CP, who doesn't even like Trump. Sigh.

A little bit OT:

I'm just reading the history of the five Mafia families of New York. It was interesting to read about Roy Cohn + Gambino/Genovese role in the construction of the Trump Tower and other Trump projects in New York.

And that led to a sudden influx in hiring in which industry, exactly?

They can likely go back to their firms or other firms after, because they are very good lawyers. It would not be explicit, however. There is 0% chance they are still being paid by their firms in any way. That could create a conflict of interest if the 1000 lawyer firm seeks to represent any adverse party and is probably illegal under DOJ ethics guidelines anyway.

It's incredible that my frankly bizarre hobbyhorse of knowing the dumb **** racists say to each other has like, weekly watercooler conversation applications.

More evidence that none of this really happened and I'm dreaming it. Who the **** wants to live in a world where "familiarity with Soviet antisemitism" becomes a trait you need to follow the news?

Major renovations on west wing being done. Staffers not joining Trump will work from Eisenhower EOB instead. These were approved by Obama who then refused to allow them to take place during his term in office. This was his parting gift to Hillary, who unexpectantly didn't have to deal with it.

I didn't know that the poem on the Statue of Liberty was like sand in the craw of white nationalists.

It will take at least a year (or two) to determine what he's done for/to the economy.

He's also the guy who has always said that low unemployment numbers are fake. Until now, of course.

Presidents can't do much for the economy one way or another, especially without legislation.
