The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

Well, at least Brian Fallon, John Podesta, Robby Mook, DWS, Jennifer Palmieri, Mandy Grunwald, and Cheryl Mills are all having a worse day than me. Thanks idiots.

Bernie would have won.

Really we should be measuring approval ratings by states, the way the Founders intended.

I'm curious. If Donald Trump's approval ratings are incorrect from the typical sources we get them from for every President, then what is his actual approval rating?
01-20-2017 , 11:06 AM
Well the thing is for True Approval Rating, you have to poll people on their level of approval 1-10 as opposed to just a yes-no question, and you then take that number and multiply it by the person's Merican Power Level, divide by the pigmentation of their skin, and then normalize across the whole thing.

Trump is actually coming into office at a higher True Approval Rating than Obama.

On this monumental Inauguration Day, I'd like to quote Michelle Obama because she stated how I feel better than I ever could hope to

"For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback"

Only 45 minutes away

"We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism" - President Donald J. Trump

I might have a tear or two in my eye

Wait, this Trump thing is for real? I thought it was just a viral marketing campaign for his next reality tv show.

Euronoob asking here; is there anyone reasonably smart/non-crazy in Trump's close circles or among the people he appointed? Who, if anyone, is the voice of reason we should turn to when we're looking for a glimmer of hope here?

There's a chance Ivanka and/or her husband aren't evil.

Fortunately, the most reasonable person on the "inside" just might be Secretary of Defense James Mattis.

Mattis is probably the best hope. If you like mad dogs, that is.

Maybe Mnuchin is the sane one? Like, he seems competent, and has relevant experience for his appointed task, unlike most. I suspect he'll be extremely favorable to big banks, but in an "ordinary politics" sort of corruption, not corruption-corruption.
