It seems unethical for these people to be quitting. They are very much needed. If all the competent quit, what are we left with?

Ivanka and Jared are pretty terrible at influencing Daddy.

A gigantic cluster ****, which isn't any different than what we have had for months. Why the hell should these professionals deal with the clowns running the show? Life's too short to put up with Trump's bull****.

It doesn't seem they have the power to do anything if they stayed.

US definitely lost at least five twilight struggle points already, but it's almost as if putin headlined the trump card and now we are hamstrung for the rest of the action round. good news is that probably no more military points need to be played, and the next coup attempt will trigger nuclear war, so Russia's hand is limited too.

I don't care if it was posted already. Watch it again.

Good thread reminding us that the state AGs are working hard against Trump and will rise up if Mueller gets taken down. Can't pardon your way out of these...

Also, check out this guy's Twitter account if you feel like it. He's been heavily involved in keeping elections in check since Nov 10th. Lots of surprising data has been accumulated. MSM is not picking up on any hacking articles, election laws, backdoor committees, or anything Trump's people and GOP have been doing to keep us unprotected. Articles from politico or motherjones or even reuters just aren't showing up on TV. Even the one I posted 2 days ago about the 40 million voters' data being sold on the black market. Maybe they're too technical for CNN and MSNBC, IDK.

This is great, but I wanna know the final answer! **** all of Trump's reality TV actors playing the role of government employees and their non-answers. Why does it feel like they're all following the same Putin playbook?

Just thinking, did Sessions cut a deal with Mueller, or the FBI (or less likely Rosenstein)? It's possible his part is to stay in place without resigning to protect the Special Counsel in exchange for whatever leniency. Furthermore, did Trump learn about the deal, causing him to attack Sessions relentlessly the last week?

Keep in mind that Sessions recused himself in March, because Comey and the FBI were onto him (see Comey hearing). He didn't really choose to recuse, he was FORCED to do it. Around a month later, Sessions sent in a letter of resignation.

Trump not only didn't act on the recusal right away, even though he was pissed, but he also didn't accept the resignation!

(See? Sessions's resignation is a detail I forgot and was just reminded of now. Hence the theory that something else set Trump OFF recently. And as we know from all other firings and resignations, the reason Trump gives is always a phony one.)

EDIT: Of course, Trump has started talking about moving Sessions to DHS to avoid all of the above.

But none of the Russia stuff will matter for a while if we attack North Korea. Hopefully ABC is jumping the gun here:

The Latest: Abe, Trump agree to action against North Korea

Especially after Haley said this:

Or maybe there IS a link to Russia hidden away...

This dude looks like a total crackpot. Just like my opinion man, but a guy who tweets literally a hundred times per day and doesn't understand capitalization above a kindergarten level may not be the most reliable source.

IDK either way. He's not on my follow list. Just happened to notice this one Schneiderman/Bharara thread (which is sourced) so I posted it.

His profile contained lots of links to legitimate articles I've seen before elsewhere. As I mentioned, politico, motherjones, reuters articles about the 40 million voters info for sale underground or the Vegas hackers convention getting into voting machines within minutes etc. that aren't hitting the MSM for whatever reason. There are certain topics they steer clear of, like this one or anything that implicates government officials. Do you know how frustrating it is to watch GOP Congress get trashed in a hearing, for example, and not see coverage of it anywhere?

Did you look at the content besides capitalization? Some makes sense and some is over my head techie or statistics. But if he's like Mensch or something, I would rather someone point out errors before taking him seriously.

I didn't study his tweets, because good grammar and restrained posting are imo prerequisites for a person to be a credible expert. But I did click one thread where he argues with a reasonable sounding guy and comes across pretty tinfoil-y.

I think this would be a bit crazy, the special councel hands out immunity so he gets to keep his job. It would be too intricate and the optics of it could maybe discredit his work if this was revealed.

Thats the way i see it but again im not a law person.

I REALLY wish we could redo the last 2 weeks without Scaramucci, police brutality from Trump, transsexuals in the military from Trump etc. and look at the news that's left over.

MSM has been repeating for days that this was Trump's worst week yet. Truth is, if the WH didn't do those things, it would have been a much worse week. The Fredo/Kushner/Manafort/Browder hearings and testimony and antics got completely drowned out.

I agree. Immunity is too much. That's why I suggested leniency instead.

Ok it doesnt matter, i dont see mueller handing out anything to sessions in exchange for keeping muellers position safe, mueller cant throw himself into dealings like that, his credibility would go down the toilet.

The bold may be a little stringent and could cause you to miss out on something valuable. Personally, I take those things into consideration, but not as a prerequisite. There are computer programmers and math geniuses I know IRL (NJ) who DGAF when they tweet or IM. It's definitely below average, but not enough to rule out completely.

What's HOP stand for in that tweet? Typo of IHOP?

Maybe, maybe not. What about FBI or DAG? Sessions talks to those folks regularly.

Also, Mueller did have a recent meeting with some higher up folks. I kinda remember Sessions being one of them but don't hold me to it. I'll try to look it up.

Not necessarily intelligent but intelligent enough to maneuver in political environments, minimizing damage dealt while maximizing gains. I think a better thing to say would be "Stop assuming that net worth has a positive correlation with overall intelligence."
Minimizing damage? Rofl sessions is a senator from alabama, his racist kkk bull**** is exactly what his constituents want out of him.

He couldnt even get confirmed to a judgeship back in the 80s. Stop trying to suck this dudes dick

If you notice, the things I make a big deal about are confirmed and on video. I can't help it if nobody watches.

Things that I mention in passing or ask questions about or that I clearly indicate I'm speculating on...other people (like Fly did yesterday) make into a big deal. That I can't help either.

But pay attention. The last 2 weeks after the Jr/Russians meeting were of major importance, and everybody fell for the gossip instead. Damn right it's frustrating.

Who said I was sucking his dick?

Jesus Christ, I brought him up as an example of how not everybody in Trump's administration entered it as a moron. As you can see by his ability to stay relevant and in power throughout his tenure, he is not necessarily the idiot you imply.
