I watched a Gangland episode on MS-13 like 10 years ago. They seemed like no joke TBH.

Mostly in east LA, San Diego from what I recall.

Bloods and crips is so 1990's gangs that white suburban-ites know about. If you wanna scare the **** out of people, saying MS-13 is in their backyard probably works a lot better.
