Showed the Dylan Pickles letter to my 10-year old. Within two seconds, she said there was no way a 9-year old would write that badly.

I think Fly had it right: the most damning evidence (aside from maybe no creases) is that fake Pickles wrote to a margin and at one point hyphenates a word at the end of a line.
