Hey everyone scumbag McCain released a statement saying he is concerned about how trump released the transgender ban. Not the ban itself just the use of twitter.

Your daughter is about the right age. How exactly do you think your stance changes on this stuff if she lets you know one day that she has felt like a boy since age 12?

Quotes from my father when discussing transgender in the military

1. " They should take it a step further, women shouldn't be in the military either they are a distraction."

He then tried to pivot to this

2. "What I meant was women shouldn't be on the front lines battling, they should be sewing parachutes and making ammo."

What the **** is making ammo? And then the golden goose.

3. "If women weren't in the military there wouldn't be any sexual assaults."

You literally have no idea how hard it was to compose myself after that. Then my sister got in on the fun a few moments ago.

4. "Transgender yea I don't believe in that. It's not a real thing."

I then asked her if she believed it were possible for a baby to be born with two genitalia? Nope doesn't believe in that either, not a real thing.

At this point should I get a DNA test to make sure I'm related to these people? They are working on uninviting me and refunding my money for a big family beach trip next month. Yea because I'm the bad guy here.

i thought career law enforcement types leaned republican. maybe they're anti-trump because they're paying attention
I was career law enforcement. Career law enforcement doesn't "lean" republican, it is hard care republican.

Donald Trump defends 2013 tweet about allowing women to serve in the military
Donald Trump on Wednesday defended a tweet that he posted three years ago that stated the estimated number of unreported sexual assaults in the military and then mused: "What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?"

"Well, it is, it is a correct tweet," Trump said when asked about the tweet during NBC News' Commander-in-Chief Forum in New York on Wednesday night. "There are many people that think that that's absolutely correct ... Well, well, it's happening, right? And, by the way, since then, it's gotten worse."

So are they going to discharge currently serving transgender people? Or not allow new ones to join?

Huckabeast wouldn't answer about the currently serving today.

The Dem response to this should really be "That's nice. Hey, where's the healthcare bill?".

I get that it would be nice to defend the human dignity of transgender people and all, but there are unfortunately bigger fish to fry here. If you allow Trump to use ****ting on some minority group or other as a distraction, then that will become his go-to strategy and he will keep doing it.

How many times do we have to play the same game?
The US will never stop having black people in the military, specifically enlisted soldiers as fodder on the front lines dying with other poor disenfranchised young people.

Now keeping them from becoming officers is something I can see them shooting for.

lol Brownback f*cked up Kansas so much that he's getting out of there to take a made up position before they take the pitchforks and torches to him.

Before his statement, New transgender were not allowed to join. Also if you come out as trans during basic you get kicked out. If you are already in the Army and come out as trans you could stay. Also, if you were going to West Point and you came out as trans, you don't get kicked out but could not commission as an officer. Would just become a E-4 upon graduation.

Saw this on Facebook

Number of transgender people currently serving in US military, 10-20,000

Number of Trump family members who have ever served in history, 0.

No idea if this is true but it would not surprise me at all.

In what context, exactly?

If he really wants to be in the military, I'd encourage him to enlist, but not expect to be given any special treatment. There are sex-based restrictions in the military, and he's a biological female, so plan accordingly.

My kids are spoiled, but not entitled.

This is the most perfectly crafted right wing social post of all time.

It shows a total and complete lack of even the most basic understanding of the issue mixed with absolute certainty of position. It even has a little "I'm better at life than you" thrown in to spice it up.

Well done.

This is very true. Vent your **** and get back on point. I think Riverman posted something similar earlier.

What a maverick!).

In 10 years are there going to people nostalgic for the days when Donald Trump knew more then the generals and respected women more then anyone else on Earth?
The "Maverick" label, and a ton (all?) of the public good will he earned, came when he sponsored McCain-Feingold.

Are they seriously putting that letter out there with the intent to slow criticism of the prez? That looks so ridiculously fake. If that's actually a nine year old kid he's probably not on the fast track to CEO, when I was nine my teacher would have failed me for something looking that bad
