1A? Like first amendment? Unfortunately, I don't think that counts as a violation. God references generally don't fly into the face of the first amendment unless they favor one religion. If he had said Jesus rather than God, then you could attempt an argument, but even then, its not really a government sanctioning of religion in the same way that a Christian prayer in a public school would be for example.
